Concerning the Weekly drills... I am guessing you played the same games that used to be a part of the mini-camp back in the day. Now back then your guys, depending on how good you did points wise, would be given points to allocate which would be permanent. Is this the same deal nowadays? Or are the points you get only good for that specific game you trained for and after that game they go away?
wuts even better is when ur trying to recover a fumble and someone gets online and it covers up which button ur supposed to be pressing. i just send mad heat and man up the WRs. i just won 56-14. Fitzgerald had 18 catches, 280 yards, 6 TDs. Had mad picks too.
Are you serious? Nice. I'm loving this demo... The Wildcat is killing the CPU. It's total BS that you can't audible into other WC plays. Owell, they'll be going into my audible **** and I'm going to hurry up offense it and mix some other passing **** in. Do you throw bombs to fitz and boldin? Are they connecting? I use Sinorice (SP???) Moss for NYG and his speed lets me get him deep. The one issue I'm having is passing. In years past there was no point in lobbing passes. Now there is. I'm finding it difficult to figure out which works best for when. I love running around too. Let the dline get sucked to the outside and run up the middle and scramble to throw. I can't get away with the **** I did last year, but I can still do it time to time. Also, running with a QB is much better this year. I can pop 10 yards off with Eli if need be. Couldn't do that last year. The whole defense would pounce the moment you got near the LOS.
Just something cool I noticed while playing the demo tonight... I went into replay mode, and i was just looking around to see how nice things looked, and decided to zoom in on big ben's face, it looks pretty much like him, but what i noticed as the play went on was cool... It looked like his eyes were moving back and forth like he was looking downfield for receivers (i could be seeing things), but then as i threw the pass you could see the animation of his face change to show him putting effort into the pass... Just a small little touch that probably goes un-noticed to most, if not all. I thought it was pretty cool to see though Im liking this alot more now that I can play the full 5 minute quarter demo. This 15 second runoff is ticking me off though edit: I just sacked kurt warner, and checked that out on the replay too... nice face of pain, and lamar woodley looks like he's ready to eat warner! I wonder why Warner isnt wearing a mouth guard though
Full set of ratings for our phins. I haven't seen this anywhere... but figured I'd post it here... I know theyve changed the ratings system, but Henne only a 66? Accuracy only a 74? Ouch.. http://espn.go.com/videogames/features/madden/madden10?teamId=12
66 this year is like a 75 last year...with the new rating system. Drew Stanton is a 44 this year..They never really used to have that many players if any ranked that low. Pennington is an 85 with a 93 accuracy..Nice! JT a 79???? and where is Cam Wake?
Judging by the demo, only RB can be involved in the WC. I hope it's just the demo, but I doubt it. Ginn is going to awesome though. Speed kills in this game.
you can change the package to have Hb, HB2, Qb, or Wr taking the direct snap. oh, and dont count on being able to put this in your audibles. you cant audible out of the wildcat to any other play, so im guessing you cant audible into the wildcat either. this shoudl keep people from abusing it by getting a defense in dollar or quarter then audibling to wildcat and running hurry the whole time.
im having success passing in the seams between the underneath coverage and the deep coverage. lead a bullet pass, if hes open he'll catch it. if its man coverage, just throw to the RB. the CPU is too dumb. even on all madden you can run 4 verticals and an out route and score every time.
I loved the offseason drills back in Madden 05 or whatever... I wish they'd go back to that as well. The crappy player progression is what kept me from staying interested in Franchise Mode longer than 2 or 3 seasons in Madden 2008/2009... I could play 15+ seasons back when they had the offseason drills because it wasn't as time consuming and I could keep my stars from hitting the decline or help my rookies get past the wall.
Yeremiah Bell is 79 speed cmon EA really this man caught Jamal Charles (who is rated 93 speed) from behind. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-...maal-Charles-Highlight-WK-16-vs-Dolphins-2008
A better list of the Dolphin ratings can be found here: http://maddennfl.easports.com/cover.action Has every rating category and is in an excel sheet so you can sort everything
Check me out, I'm nasty. i just had 373 receiving yards with Chris Wells by throwing it on a slant to him every single time. i won 52-14. Chris Wells is not a receiving back. He is a power back. So unrealistic, but go Buckeyes!!!
Guess who can audible the wildcat? ME! OMG it's Broken... Had a 46 yard run with Marion Barber and then a long one with Felix Jones.
Oh i know but there is no way one of our rookies should be rated higher than him. He should at least be an 80 OVR. And i know an average player is around a 70 this year.
the ratings for CBs shows up in a huge way. shutdown CBs do exactly that. avg CBs can beat beat quite easily. Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie is an absolute beast. He is a TD machine.
