Well now how does Childress possibly go and fix things with Jackson and Rosenfels now?

Once again Favre screws another team by dividing them. He is sort of like the new TO.

I have heard this story before Doc. You know as soon as a big name QB goes down during the season that Favre is going to have an itch to get back out there and play. Favre has retired more than most heavyweight boxers. If he has indeed hung up his spikes he will always remember the Miami Dolphins who ended his season/career and the NY Jets' shot at the AFC East.

I don't think Minnesota wants the bad pub. After all, the Love Boat scandal wasn't all that long ago. Although, you could argue he might be a good fit for the team.

As for Favre finally coming to terms with age and retirement, glad to see he finally came to his senses. Time to just give it up Brett. You shouldn't have come back last season. To do so again would've just been ridiculous.

He was one of my favorite active QBs until his drama began to outweigh his talent and drive. And when he became a Jet........:pity:

Yeah, too bad the last game he's gonna be remembered for is the one he got his a** whipped by The Miami Dolphins, eh? :wink2:

    Not so fast, my friends:

Will Vikings hear from Favre in two weeks?

    :pity:

Farve is the biggest media whore on the planet. Retire or play but please just shut the **** up and do either one already.

Yeah, I can still see him getting smoked by Y. Bell on the last play. Someone lateralled to Favre. Bell was on him like a heat seeking missile. Favre ditched the ball in an futile attempt to avoid any contact. TOO LATE. Enter Bell stage west and BOOM!

    Beautiful...........just beautifl.....

Oh - and not to mention it was against our most hated Division rivals (in my case, anyway). Capped off just about a perfect season for me.

Waiting till week 6th and injuries to any QB before I feel he will remain retired for the '09 season....he can probably handle 12 weeks of pro football thats why I dont think he is back until week 6th (gives him additional time to rehab his shoulder surgery and get arm strength back).

But if an injury happens....you know darn well his name will be in the mix as a logical replacement option from every talking head.

I won't believe it until/unless this season starts and he's still at home.
There's absolutely nothing he can say now that he hasn't already said before. The tears, the emotional speech about how hard the decision has been, etc, etc. It's all been done.
    So we'll see.
