Not for nothin' padre, but Chad was benched because of his own poor play in '07 for Kellen Clemens.

07 just SUCKED for the Jets as a whole.

Ronnie will be fine, in fact, we could put Jesse Chatham behind our oline and he would do fine as well, we've spent big bucks on it and there is no reason to think they won't improve over last season.

And I must thank the Jets for providing the best moment in Dolphins history in almost a decade, that final game victory...top notch, top notch.

Mangini was a PITA, but he could coach, watch the Brownies will make the playoffs this season, his problem is his players hate him in a bad way.

The 8 hr bus ride to his football camp really angered some of the Brownies, they cannot kill Mangina, they can take it out on opponents.

If the Browns make the postseason this year I will personally send you a check for $100.

Heading to bed though dude. Going to the Shore tomorrow. Have a good one.

    Try going 1-15 124...

Penny's arm is weak, take away the legs and what does he have? Put him on a bad team and his weaknesses are magnified.

I expect Penny to play sparaingly in the preseason, we will see a bunch of Henne and White, Sparano knows what Penny is, the other two, not so much.

BTW Clemmons has been named the #1 heading into Training Camp.

I absolutely do, his staying healthy is right up there at number one along with the health of Jake Grove, Donald Thomas, Justin Smiley, Jason Taylor, etc. Without those players it will be even more difficult to repeat as AFCE champs in a very tough East. But I'm not going to get all jazzed about a bunch of players that have a hard time stringing 2 healthy seasons together, I want to see them actually stay healthy before I feel comfortable with them.

So...124...you staying around during the season....or headed back once your time out is concluded....

I only ask because its been kind of fun having a Jets fan on here so often to banter back and forth with. Once the season starts...it should reallllllly get fun. We can pick on Mark Sanchez and you can pick on Tom Brady....then we can pick on Leon Washington, and you can pick on T.O., should be a blast..!!!

    not so
Pennington is the RealDeal, Ronnie is OnBecomingMaybe? (very bad comparison)

the essential questions (in order of importance) to ask that will determine the offense in 2009:

    1) can the Pennington Renaissance continue? will he lead us to the play-offs again?
    2) will the offensive line live up to expectations?
    3) will the Tandem produce the elite running game we need to compete this year
    4) can our WR & TE Stables produce an adequate result consistently, with one or more players stepping up their game?
    5) will Pat White reinvigorate the WildCat, creating an optional/co-offense or will it flop & remain a gimmick to be used sparingly in games to help keep the edge on the running game?

    23) will Ronnie Brown be within the top five (elite) NFL running backs in 2009 & earn that big contract?
    34) will Ricky Williams return with the desire & wheels of his Franchise days or continue as a very good Tandem to Ronnie?

this season will hinge on the Orca-5's ability to run block & protect Pennington
if they do their job, Pennington will thrive & we will win many, many games :rimshot:
