I know of a full-time US government position that's open. Got a CISSP and like IA? Only catch is that it's here in Japan. PM me and I can tell you where to apply.
I guessing IA is Internal Affairs? I have no idea what CISSP is though. I'd love to have a Govt. Job. I have no college degree or Military background, which I understand is a must to get in with the Gumbmint though.
Damn! AC/DC is coming to Orlando on what looks like the final date of their final tour, and I think my concert bud and I are skipping it. I live literally 2 miles from the Arena, too. But, we have already committed monies to Priest, Motorhead, and believe it or not, Stryper, so we decided to wait until the show is imminent and see if we can score some returned tickets or something. We both already saw them on this tour, so it's not a huge deal if we miss it, but it's AC/DC, man.
Yeh thats what I was thinking, if you dont know what it stands for you prob. arent qualified for the job. Going to japan would be awesome though. I've always wanted to go somewhere where the avg. height is 5'5.
Sup foos? I'm off to Chi town tomorrow. Saturday, I'll be at Comic Con all day. Then, I'm doing a midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Yeah ... daytime with a mob of people who never get any and a night with freaks who get it indiscriminately.
theres this NEW thing called Google..you guys should check it out. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
speaking of stalking.....looking for 3 serious players to join my free fantasy league carried over from FH. We start individual D players. Anyone interested in joining Prep/Tokyo/Stitches/Major and others let me know.
IA = Information Assurance. Basically it's a Computer Security Job. And yes, having a 4-yr degree is a prerequisite, but if you have a CISSP, that 4-yr degree can be in basket-weaving or "Computer Studies" which is basket-weaving in the computer world (my degree). People often forget that in many cases, employers just want to see that you can start and finish something. Having that 4-yr peiece of paper means that you can start and finish a long-term self-improvement project. Some emplyers go deeper, but I would imagine that most only care that you have that piece of paper. And yes, a CISSP is expensive and requires a lot of study on computer security. Security+ is easier and cheaper and a step 1 certification that would help too.
I didn't finish college because of the money. I could've taken a **** ton of student loans to finish, but I'm glad I didn't. With the economy being what it is, I'd probably be paying those off till I died.
Question for you guys: If there was a doggie bed with the Dolphins logo for sale would you buy one? And have you ever seen them available for sale?
I think someone makes them, was just curious because a guy I work with swears they would sell like hot cakes. And we have an NFL license.
Speaking of *****, I think this is my new favorite web site: http://www.peepeeface.com/ (Yes, it's safe for work)
I still think urinal cakes with rival teams logos on them is a winner. You could make a mint off selling college rival team urinal cakes around the country. A tennesse Vols logo on the urinal in the Gators bathrooms? Excellent. A Bills logo urinal cake in the Dolphins bathroom? Muey Excellente. edit: just clicked on your link. Damn it...
BUT that guy does not have any licensing, his team logos are generic. We have a license, therefore all we would have to do is get the item approved by the NFL and voila!
I thought about that, and you're right, but the NFL are whores. If they think they can make money off it, that's all that matters to them. The condoms they would definitely say no to.
You know how watchdog groups are. The NFL allows condoms with logos on them, then the Catholics and Tim Tebow get involved. et. al.
