Just bought infamous today. What a sick game. Im a couple hours in and all i can think about is how great it would be if Sucker Punch were to make a spider-man game. The climbing and the combat of Infamous is so fluid. This games a real gem.

Yeah the ending was VERY unexpected. The only thing I don't understand is:

If he was gonna go back in time, why not just stop all the madness from the begnning? I mean, he went back in time AND killed his wife only to make himself stronger for future events? Kinda defeats the whole purpose. Unless I misunderstood...

only by killing his wife (and testing Cole so much), could he make himself into the true hero that he needs to be in order to prevent the future (as he knows it) from occurring. I thought since he fled (initially), he wasn't strong enough (mentally or physically) anymore to put a stop to the problems.

Anyone else having trouble with the 'Hotfoot' trophy? It says to grind on the rails for 25 kilometers, but Ive grinded on those ****ers for days and can't seem to trigger it...

Yeah but not in the game its not. You get a trophy for riding the train 2 kilometers, and that took barely any time at all.

Finished it...very disappointed. Very repetitive in the models (how many of the same cars can you see parked next to each other?.....this got absurd!), repetitive in missions, and repetitive in action.

Though moving through the city was cool..from jumping, grinding, etc. That was done very well.

Alright, I've found 349 of the 350 Blast Shards. Ive searched each Island 10 times over and can't find that last ****ing shard. Ive looked on every rooftop, and searched the border of each island (near the piers and edges). I even found one out in the water and the one on the top of the building near the crater in the Historic district. FML.

Those maps are a pain in the ***. I guess I could print it out and and go to each one, but it kinda takes the fun out of it. I found 349 with no guide whatsoever... FML.

Yea man, it is near impossible to find a last one, unless you were keeping track. There was like two I found that I couldn't even seem to reach (1 was the prison entrance up top, and the other was on the top of one of the statues next to a bridge).

I can attest that all the ones you can see are reachable. The prison one is a *****. you have to scale it and get to the back, then shimmy down to the shard.

For the statue one, Im pretty sure you can scale it. If not, try getting to one of the taller buildings nearby and gliding over with the static thrusters.

I was caught up in the story, and had enough energy, that I just didn't try for them enough.

I just tried the Demo. This game seems awesome. Reminded me of crackdown a but, which I also enjoyed a lot. I may get it after i have my fill of madden, and Batman at the end of the month. probably pick it up used.

and btw, all games are repetitive.

This might be my fav PS3 game to date. I was good... The story is the same regardless (besides a few story based missions). Some missions are different

just beat this on both good and evil. i played through good, and then manually saved on the "Search for the Ray Sphere" mission. and i beat it on out from there on good. then i went back to my save, and chose to play that mission again. i do this sometimes in games, make a few saves incase i accidentally screwed myself without knowing it.

when you do the following mission, when you either destroy or use the ray sphere, even if you played the whole game as good, you will be infamous if you use the sphere here. its probably vie-versa too. and i wasnt sure if your power was really doubled or not if you do indeed use the sphere, but it does! as good, i died at least a dozen times fighting kessler. i didnt die once as evil, and thats without hardly any upgrades or special abilities. thought this was pretty cool. they def reward you for being evil

great game, great story, great ending. cant wait for future games.

I'm about halfway through this game, and it is easily the most fun game I've ever played on the PS3. Great difficulty curve, intriguing story -- even the side missions are fun. And as others have said, exploring and navigating the city is a blast. It's totally Spider Man meets Grand Theft Auto.
