    you never know what they're up to with these conversations & maneuvers
    however
    if Thomas can pick up where he left off last year, he will start @ right guard

    hope Murphy has come far enough in the off season to challenge or back up both the guards
    this is a good thing:yes:

    Seeing as how Berger is going to be active on game days, they probably just want to get him some reps on the right side just in case he has to go in because of an injury. I bet he sees some time at LG at some point as well.

    Where does that leave Justin Smiley. I may have missed something earlier on, but I thought that Smiley was the LG with Thomas and Murphy fighting out for the RG spot. Do we think that Thomas and Murphy at the guard positions would be better and make for a nastier combination?
