So every jersey/shirt with name I have bought since I've been living in the U.S., the player has gotten traded in less than one year.

The list includes Dontrelle Willis(traded like 3 months later), Shaq(traded about a year later), Antoine Walker(traded 2 months later), got an autograph from the Florida Panthers Lilja(traded 2 weeks later), and there's a couple more in that list that I have forgotten to include.

So I bought one of thoes blue Ronnie Brown shirts yesterday that have his name and number on the back. Neat jersey, but according to my prophecy, he will be gone.

    You heard it here first!

it's just a reminder to all that people above a certain age shouldn't wear player jerseys

um, if he has a good year, why wouldn't he get the money? I know parcells doesn't like paying the big bucks, but at the same time, if you refuse to pay a player who did well for you, then your never going to sign any other big name Free Agents or draft picks cause they'll see theres no point in playing well for miami cause they won't pay you. Theres a political side to this stuff too.

If ronnie puts up another 1000+ yard season with 10+ TDs and we let him walk, i will be furious. Thankfully theres already been rumors of his contract being in the works.

Check BP history and he is not one to pay big for RB , If ronnie leaves i say Cobbs or ricky take the starting role,

The only way Bill Parcells does not pay him is if Ronnie Brown has a bad season andthen he asks for a lot of money. But if Ronnie Brown has a good season then Bill Parcells will be willing to pay Ronnie Brown.

Ronnie Brown is not going to want to be the highest paid running back in the NFL. He is going to want to stay here. He is a team player and he is on a winning team.

Cobbs and Ricky? I am sorry but Cobbs is not an every down back and Ricky is getting old his body will not be able to take hits like it use to. Plus you have to have a special kind of running back to run the wildcat. Tell my one back in this league that can run the wildcat like Ronnie Brown can or that can even come close.

Bill Parcells will pay Ronnie Brown if he has a good season.

    900-1,000 + season rushing or 10 tds.

Ronnie Brown just does not seem like the type of player that revolves his decision around money.

Instead of looking at this as a sign that Ronnie will be gone, it might be an indication that you should let someone else choose your jersey's from now on. :wink2:

If I get a new jersey, that player gets hurt or leaves somehow. Happened with Ronnie, Seau, Zach, Culpepper....

So now I'm going old school. Got a Csonka last year, maybe an Offerdahl or Kiick this year.

What exactly is that age limit?

Also, why would one be so concerned whether an adult is wearing a jersey to a game or not?

Just clarifying. I by no means want Ronnie to go or thinking he will be gone. I just wanted to put this out there. I always found it kind of freaky how it always happens

Ricky has said he only wants to play one or two more years, and Cobbs is not an every down back.

for the rumor mill, a caller into Linder's show claimed that we tried to trade Ronnie Brown and a 4th round pick to AZ for Anquan Boldin.

He claimed Schefter had said it on a sports show, Schefter has been saying we were going to trade Brown for a long time now, he also claimed that Ronnie and Pennington will be gone after 09 as in we won't resign them

Well that's kinda stupid on your part ?? If you knew this about your jersey purchases, why did you buy Ronnies ?? Why not Ernest Wilford or Eric Green ??

Just kidding about the stupid part...seriously, I don't believe in jinxes or whatever...but it was kinda funny to read your post...

the problem lies not in your jersey but Ronnies new contract
I think he has no better than a 50/50 chance of dressing out as a Dolphin in 2010
this will depend solely on how much he demands & the season he displays:yes:running Tandem with Ricky

the way Jason Allen has been coming on better to send him an extra jersey, he'll probably be able to use it
Any Eric Green jerseys available? Now that's what I call a bad fit.

Schefter also said that we were going to trade our #1 overall last year for Marion Barber, 3 first round draft picks and 2 2nd rounders. How'd that work out? :wink2:
