Pick up Ray Rice and Leon Washington. 2 of the highest upside RBs out there. Rice's hype is picking up steam but you can prob still grab him in the 5th. Washington can be snagged much later and is going to be a PPR monster.
I'm ambivalent when it comes to Fantasy Football, but it felt awkward picking Washington. Value in the 10th round, I told myself.
I really like Ray Rice. I think he could end up being a beast this season, especially if McGayhee underperforms or gets dinged up.
Baltimore has too many RBs. Rice, McGahee, McClain, and Peerman. They're all good, so I usually avoid that type of scenario unless its unreal value.
After watching last night's game I'm thinking that Caddy might be a good pick up. He'll probably be available as a FA or at a minimum in the last round or so. I've seen Ward being touted but most won't even realize he's back. It is a multi-back situation, but it sounds like he'll be the starter. They have a good OL and I think they'll run more than most teams.
i added caddy in the 16 team league im in. he's pretty far down my list until he does something in the regular season.
McClain is the FB and might sneak goalline or short yardage carries. It's not like last year when they had Lorenz O'Neal. All signs point to Rice as the guy. If you've seen the preseason, he's the only back they have on the field with their starters.
I haven't had my draft yet but it should be a 10 team league. I figure if you're adding him now in a 16 team league, the odds are good that I can get him late in my draft. There are a few guys who are usually well informed in my league who might be aware of him but I haven't noticed Caddy in most publications so the rest won't even consider him.
