Hartline Not Your Average Rookie http://www.miamidolphins.com/newsite/news/top_story.asp?contentID=6614 " Good read....
Yeah, I really like this kid. He seems to have the work ethic and determination to succeed. Hopefully he will continue to grow and be a real playmaker for us.
Thaks! Good read. His Big Special Teams Hit Here [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JiSSlyWy70"]YouTube - Brian Hartline HUGE hit[/ame] 2008 Highlights Here [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOCm0fOpOu8"]YouTube - BN Brian Hartline 2008 Highlights[/ame] I see a kid who focuses a lot on the catch when the ball arrives. He commits fully to concentrating on the ball, even at the expense of leaving his feet, spinning backwards, upside down, whatever. He absorbs hits like a champ and holds on to the ball. He is well-rounded, running vertical seams and sidelines, good curls, and very good slants. Kid is good enough at everyhting, big enough fast enough... he is not AMAZING in any one category, but he is at least "good enough" in all of them. Technical, precise, and aware out there. His quote about wanting to play mistake free ball is EXACTLY Sparano's philosophy. Sparano muist LOVE this kid. He 'gets it'.
I just can't for our rookie receivers to shut up the so-called draft experts who say that we reached for them.
