saw that we picked up kory sperry for our practice squad. i live in fort collins colorado home of the csu rams and think he will end up being a good pickup. he was on a terror the first couple of seasons with csu before hurting hi knee i think and has been trying to get back to where he was. not much of a blocker but a good recever. wonder if joey porter said anything about him to the coaching staff.
Very good receiver, needs some work on the blocking side. Looked very good at the combine and did some damage for the Chargers in preseason games. Over a year removed from the knee injury, he could be a nice little pick up. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/kory-sperry?id=79649
I bumped the UDFA thread from April were you named Kory Sperry as a player we may be interested in DD. Good Call Sir.
Hmmm...another speedy recieving TE, that played QB. Makes me kinda wonder if something is up here....also...notice the 3.67 GPA in high school...kid is pretty smart as well. Dont you just love our FO....they go balls to the walls 24/7
FA are much harder to identify as the pool is huge and there are no tips on when one may be signed. Ex Qb, like Davin Drew was.
Love these kind of finds by Ireland, he is so good at this. Folks we've got ourselves a really good GM here! This kid sounds like there's a lot of upside, he will probably need a Spring in our strength & conditioning program before he can really learn to block and have the muscle to do it right. Thanks for the post/thread, good intel.
