    1) Really!

    2) I didnt have an opinion going-in, except I thought I would be entertained. The local DC Movie guy said "a notch below The Hangover!" Well, thats if you only gave The Hangover a 1 out of 10!

    3) Of course I did.

I am telling you, Extract is a perfect name, cause it Extracts your soul and reason to live from your body, and your money from your wallet.

A severely overlooked movie that is fantastic. River Phoenix and Harrison Ford both give us excellent performances.

Wow. I usually find Bateman pretty funny (even in State of Play he was funny), so Him + Mike Judge should have been hard to **** up.

Rotten Tomaotes gave it a 62%, which isn't horrible, so maybe it's just a hit or miss type film. I'll wait a few months for the DVD.

Saw Extract and Moon over the weekend.

Extract was ok but ultimately forgettable. Save for one scene with Gene Simmons, all the funniest stuff was in the trailer. The movie meandered quite a bit, and it was criminal in its misuse of J.K. Simmons, whom I always look forward to.

Moon was good, but given I had ridiculously high expectations for it, I was (just) a little disappointed. Which is to say it was solid, but not life-changing.

Harvey Keitel is one of my all-time favorite actors.

I LOVE that movie. How can you go wrong with the rape of a nun, and a cop smoking crack with the dudes he's supposed to arrest?

Speaking of crazy madness movies, have you ever seen "Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead"? GREAT movie right there, brother.

Just finished watching [IMG] on AMC. If you haven't seen this one, you shouldn't feel too bad. Matthew McConaughey is way too overdramatic. I think the last movie I really liked that he was in was 'Dazed and Confused'.

    I just watched that too.

I actually didn't mind McConaughey, but the rest of the cast and that script was just terrible.

I think everyone who was saying Bale never had a bad movie/performance, clearly forgot about that one.

Great ensemble cast in the flick, Rappaport was a blast too. That movie was so underrated. Stallone's role as a cop, a real cop, not some superhuman killing machine was a welcome change from Rambo, Cobra etc etc.....

Yeah, that was a great movie. Stallone had to put on a bunch of weight for that one. I wonder if he got advice from Deniro, who's awesome at doing that. Example - Raging Bull

    Or Rene Zelweiger?

    Some recent ones I saw:

The Final Destination 3D - Awful, easily the worst of a franchise that lost it's luster.

The Grudge 3 - Booo.....what a turd that movie was.

Defiance - Wow. What a fantastic WWII era movie! Set in Russia, this movie documents a group of Jews led by a couple of brothers that fight back against the Nazis. I love WWII movies and this one was a quality film based on actual events.

The first was pretty novel, the 2nd and 3rd were tolerable and had enough gore to make them amusing. This one was doo doo, in 3D.

I disagree in regards to Saw. I own all 5 and am anxiously awaiting the 6th installment. As I did last year I will watch them all prior to seeing the new one, there is an interesting story arc that has developed over the series and watching the films back to back makes it a different experience than watching them as individual films.

I enjoyed this movie. I thought it did everything right in a typical Highschool esque movie.

Its pretty predictable has some nice moments. Good titty parts and plenty of eye candy.

Also I have a thing for Amanda Crew now.

If your bored and need to kill time check it out its really not that bad.
