Agent: Zach Thomas not retiring despite setback Former Miami Dolphins star Zach Thomas, who was waived by the Kansas City Chiefs over the weekend, has no intentions of retiring, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus. "Zach wants to play," Rosenhaus told WQAM (560-AM) Thursday morning. "He's definitely not going to retire this season. There's no question that he wants to play football. I think at some point this year he's going to play. Zach's a football player. He loves the game and at some point, hopefully, in the near future he will be 100 percent healthy." http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...h-thomas-not-retiring-s091009,0,6191558.story
He needs to be healthy more than anything else, but with his desire to play more, I just wish it were possible to have him come home like JT did. what a beautiful sight that would be. It may just be my dream, but it's a good dream.
You rock Deb. You're such a mother hen - in a good way. I'd love ZT back here too but I want him to be healthy more than anything.
Absolutely. I can honestly say I wished he had retired as a Dolphin... ...mainly because I was worried about his concussion history. Thankfully it hasn't been much of a concern since... Best of luck and no more injuries to Zach.
Isn't it ironic that the Dolphins would have had two of the smaller and best middle linebackers to ever play the game in Nick Buoniconti Height: 5-11 Weight: 220 and Zack Thomas Height: 5-11 Weight: 242. By the way, I just read on a ESPN Chiefs site that Thomas has a hamstring injury which kept him out of all of the Chiefs preseason games. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=985
