You can't really blame Fasano for that fumble... he took a massive shot from a helmet, right on the arm. Thats a fumble every time, regardless who the ball carrier is. Its part of the game... Unfortunately for us, with the way our secondary is playing, it probably means were down 14 heading into halftime. Still lots of football to play though. Speaking of which... welcome back JT. way to get the sack!
Jt saves day. For now. Will the offense scor in the sec half and will ronne get the ball? Posted via Mobile Device
I hear ya, and I agree that it was a big hit, but Fasano needs to get down and not stay upright in that situation. Think ball protection first, there was no extra yardage to gain there (multiple defenders in the vicinity).
While I know what you're saying Hugo, I don't think Fasano really had that chance. Hed just taken the original hit around the legs, then right away got smoked. I don't think he really had the time to get down... I see your point though.
easy to say that on a message board........not easy to think about that on a nfl football field during a high intensity game
Why is our corner laying on the 5 yard line on that play while norwood is wide open in the endzone? Was that Vontae Davis?
Anthony Fasano single handedly turns 7-7 or 7-3 into 10-0. Still not over, but definitely discouraging.
This has been one depressing damned half. Our defensive backs are horrible, our O line can't pass block, Chad is panicky and clumsy and not looking for the open WR when the ball is in his hands.
Off course it is, which is why they get paid. That type of awareness is what makes the difference in a lot of games.
Well folks...I think we need to calm down with all of our expectations for the rest of the season. One game @ a time.
I believe they said Parcells didn't make the trip to Atlanta... Its all on Tony, as it always has been. He'll fire em up though no doubt.
