Thanks Muck. That puts it all back into perspective again. I remember the story on the news from Friday night. Aaron was honored by his high school before the football game. Everyone needs to remember that while we're here pissing and moaning about a crappy football game, brave men and women are sacrificing their lives so we can all be free.
arrrrrrrrr we had a "Pirates festaval this weekend in Stuart and it was sponsered by one of the museums I sit on the board of.. saw some mighty fine wenches this weekend. A 4-5 year old kid offered me a dollar for a penny candy, I told him to keep the dollar.. his mom said "tell him thank you" he looked me over and went arrrrrr in keeping with the topic.. we stunk it up today.
I'm not inebriated enough...man what a goose egg. The D played fine, Pennington and the Oline were terrible. Credit to the Falcons' D though they made our Oline look bad consistently.
yeah well see in coming weeks if it was our o line or their d. I would tend to think a combination of both.......
Whats funny is how this game and the Bucs game in preseason were eerily similar. We saw a good deal of penetration today right up the middle of the offensive line. Smiley was beaten by Babineaux a few times today, which shouldn't happen.
This was priceless, great work. Man, I'm going to have nightmares of Long getting run over by Abraham. I thought he was the one guy offensively that we didn't need to be concerned with. And now Freeney is up next... oh boy.
I think we will be ok next week. Indy didnt look too hot today and I doubt we really will turn the ball over 4 times again. I hope next week we get Ronnie to pound the Indy D because they arent the best on defending the run.
yup basically. we saw what we saw in preseason. Its like I said if you had high hopes because of preseason today was a hell of an eye opener. Its ok though, we will see this season how good we really are. Champions rise to the challenge. If we don't then we know we aren't champions.....................
yeah, long showed in preseason though he was having some troubles. Hopefully he can step up, rise to the challenge. This whole o line though needs to get better quick, especially the left side yikes.
Didn't we hear the same thing this week about Atlanta? I know one thing for sure, if Peyton gets the same looks down the field that Ryan got today, he's not going to miss.
Yeah I guess we did, but when Ronnie got his touches today, he did work with it. I think he finished close to Turners run total today with half the amount of touches.
And on his largest gain who blocked two guys to spring him that far? Oh wait, it was Brown. I think Brown was the best RB out there for us, but Ricky was good also.
