Young Phillies fan rejects dad's foul ball gift

Haha nice find. The guy handled it pretty well.

 

I guarantee this will be my daughter one day at a game. Also he's a Phillies fan, so he's used to rejection. (World Series last year be damned!)

My wife sent me that yesterday and asked what I would do if my youngest threw the ball back, I of course responded I woukd do exactly as he did
Nothing is worth more than a hug like that, not even a Marino signed football.....although it would be mighty close

I saw that the Phillies gave them a ball the next day, don't know if it was signed or not.

 

No word on whether the fans in Philly responded by booing.

To the best of my knowledge there were gasps of suprise, but no booing.
