THIS. They only showed the reverse angle once, but that guy had a hold of his right arm. The official was in front of the play, not behind it. Thus why nothing was called.
He had his guy beat, he shouldn't have had to wait for a jump ball, ball should have been thrown sooner. It was PI. He should have caught it, we needed him to. But it is not like he sucks because he didn't. I am more mad at him for the first TD miss than the 2nd.
no. our defense shouldn't have even been on the field. the colts ran less than 10 plays and scored two tds.
But he is now in his 3rd season, this is when he will be a stud WR. Just ask all the Ginn fans. Man, I'm so pissed at him right now.
Was going to give him 1 more year to show what he can do....screw that, I am done with this wimp. Give him a skirt and panties!!
What? They allowed Indy to score 27 points in less than 15 minutes. That isn't awesome. I blame Teddy a bit (he was interfered but good players overcome that nonsense), our Defense a bit, and our coaching the most.
Ginn moved the chains a couple of times but any receiver on the roster could have made those plays. When we needed a game winner, when we needed him to make a play the other receivers couldn't have made, he failed. He always fails in those situations. If that isn't obvious, well I don't know what to say.
Lol, our defense blows the game for us, our play calling when we are down blows the game for us.........but in the end we blame ginn for the drop? WE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN IN THAT SITUATION....seriously.......we had the ball for 5 years and manning killed us with only 14 completed passes.......wtf........seriously........horrible tackling......Ginn saved our drives, did anyone notice how many big third downs ginn was on? gtfo I dont understand phin fans some times.....
Return the jersey This guy just got his walking papers! But the bottomline it was the DEFENSE that lost this game!! 15 minutes on the field and gave up 27 points!!
the first dropped TD pass was nothing most the WR in the NFL cant Catch that besides Larry Fitzgerald and Andre Johnson but other then that most of the WR would have droped that the Fasano one was alot easier catch and i blame this loss on our Defense and are OC only dumb @$$ play calling at the end of the game it seems that he wanted us to loss and our defense just sucks maybe if we could have got someone who could have guard Dallas Clark we would have won that is no way we should have gave up a 1 play 80 yard TD on the opening play
The ball came right into his hands. Are we going back to blaming Chad's arm for this one? There was clearly nothing wrong with the throws.
He doesn't make those catches because he is a WIMP!!! He doesn't go up hard for the ball. But hand the defense this lose!!
Ginn has become a disappointment. Maybe we are one great wide receiver away from being a feared team.
Chad did hold him up and made him jump. Why not hit him in stride. Official. Chad Pennington lost us this game.
So what if we shouldn't have been there? The Colts should have had more than 15 minutes of possession. Didn't stop Peyton from stealing a win. Ginn could have stolen it back and failed. He will never be a big time player. That is glaringly obvious now.
the fact is. we were in that situation. should we have been? no. but we were. and ginn choked on the big one.
Our defense put us in a position to win the game on multiple occasions and Ted Ginn flat out dropped the ball at every opportunity he was given. Even the questionable one in the back of the endzone...HE MISJUDGED THE BALL AND STOPPED FOR A SPLIT-SECOND WHEN HE SHOULD KEPT RUNNING AND CAUGHT IT WITH ROOM TO SPARE!!!
I honestly think the reason why Ginn slowed down in the first endzone TD throw was because Pennington ALWAYS underthrows him... but right there he made his 1% quota where he didn't underthrow him. People just want to see Ginn fail, it's that simple to me. The "I never liked Ginn" attitude is wearing thin, folks. Why don't you just put the "Miami Dolphins* fan ; * = fan of every player except Ted Ginn Jr." label on yourselves instead.
it hit ginns hands. who cares about timing. the fact is the physics are the ball hit the hands, he should catch it. he didnt.
Ginn should have caught that pass and we'd be talking about a win right now. But the defense is to blame.
Yep I forgot the defender holding your jersey and moving your arm isn't PI. Did you see the replay they showed? The DB was guilty. Could he have caught it? Possibly, but it wasnt an easy catch at all.
You guys are forgetting his clutch third down receptions. Posted via Mobile Device Posted via Mobile Device
I've seen plenty of real receivers catch passes like that that were thrown exactly the same way. God knows how many of Brady's 50 TDs two years ago were thrown like that. Moss isn't the only receiver in the league who catches those either. Most number ones can.
i can play too. blamming everyone but ginn is thin, ill send your ginn nut hugging t-shirt in the mail tomorrow......deal?
Read my ****ing posts, I said he should've caught it. Who cares about timing? Are you serious. Jesus, you played football. Timing is everything; quarter of a second here or there makes all the difference.
People are really blaming Chad? Wow. Chad is a higher caliber NFL player than Ginn will ever dream of being, weak arm and all.
You know, I feel like on this team, we have a bunch of #2, and 3 receivers. Just a bunch of slot guys. There's no receiver on this team capable of making big plays when we need them. Clutch gains for first downs, yes, we seem to be able to do that. Big play ability, NONE. Jaworski was right during the game, we lack explosiveness in ALL areas of the game with the talent on this roster. Now the second part of this question is, is it the receivers? Or is it the QB play? That pass to ginn that he dropped in the endzone that could have won the game, seemed like that ball took FOREVER to get there... just a lob ball which allows time for the defender to make a play, and forces Ginn to delay and time a jump for it. I dont know, but maybe a QB with a stronger arm, or a stronger throw with less air under it on that play could have helped solve that issue. Part of me feels that just as "bad" as our receivers seem, the QB is at fault on this issue as well. Just seems to be alot left on the field out there in our passing game. not trying to assign blame, just... pondering.
no. time stops when it comes to hitting him in the hands.....nothing else matters. if it hits his finger tips and he misses, then thats timing. but when the balls hit the palms, with him right under the ball, its nothing to do with timing imo pete, its all him not catching the ball.
Translation: Who cares about what happened on the field, if it involved Ted Ginn and it's not a positive play... then it's completely his fault.
Those clutch third down receptions, while valuable at the time, are meaningless when you drop the potential game winning TD. Sorry.
