It's on his website, which you have to be a member of to see. Basically he feels like a lot has been asked of him by the UFC since he got there and he's kept his mouth shut about it and just did as they wished. He's reached his limit now, plus his body is breaking down and it's time to head into that second career. He says he's done. He also talked about his reasons for doing the movie, why he 'passed' on the Machida fight (he says he wanted it), etc. He ended by saying he still respects the UFC and wishes no ill will. But he's done and this is about providing for his family. http://www.rampage-jackson.com/profiles/blogs/im-done-fighting
Definitely my favorite fighter, wish him the best in whatever he ends up doing. http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dailynews.asp?articleid=9641&zoneid=2
Well, I wish the guy luck. I seriously doubt that his acting career is going to amount to a hill of beans, but I'm glad he's doing what he feels is best for him. My bet is that he'll be back in the Octagon within the next 18 months...
I read this under retirement on his wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinton_Jackson) If this is true, I'd be really pissed off too if I was Rampage.
This is what exactly White said. That is pretty ****ed up. Now, Dana is known for being, well...Dana. First article when I googled Dana on Rampage. It's Anti-Dana, but overall the guy has a point. If UFC was run like NBA or NFL, I think it would benefit EVERYBODY. http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2009/9/23/1051483/dana-white-bids-rampage-jackson
I can't believe some of the **** White gets away with saying. I really can't blame Rampage at all if he's pissed off over the entire situation.
it was interesting to see rampage's opinion on dana/ufc, too bad they treated him that way if its all true...losing him will take away one of the best personalities to every be in the sport
i loved that game! arcade classic. Rampage is an emotional guy, and says and does some things that are what he's feeling at the moment. i wont be surprised or hold it against him if he comes back. he'll probably fight again. look how many times Randy has done it at this point! do what you gotta do rampage, we'll support ya if you come back!
He's coming back From Rampage's blog this morning..... Always Titties. How many fights does he have left on his deal? And about people arguing on his website.... Maybe we should add that to our TOS. http://www.rampage-jackson.com/profiles/blogs/hate-on-dis
IMHO...I think Rampage is afraid of Evans. I think Dana is right about this. Jackson has a contract with them. Go be a movie star after you're done. He does have personality. This years UF was good as you could tell those two really didn't like each other.
