Me - The last game Cleo Lemon started. I knew it was a disaster in the making once John Beck took the field. The public cried out for it though. Led by our crack team of reporters in the Miami Media. By far the media is the single largest wretch of this team......

Ryan is careless with the ball, in a Favre sort of way without the "impossible play" ability.

And I think i've made my feelings known about Mr Dorsey....

Book it DT's do not go #1 overall.

I am honestly rooting for this team to go 0-16. I'm sorry guys.

    They really, really deserve it.

At first, I was like, "this wouldn't be fair to a Jason Taylor" but he sucks, too.

Place Glenn Dorsey on that field versus Buffalo.

    What changes?

The run defense is actually worse than our friggin' COACHING.

That is the weakest area on this football team, dude.

Really? We're blaming the media for starting Beck too early. Really? Come on, if any reporter has that much sway on this team, then there are bigger problems than I thought.

That pretty little 6.5 yards per rush against us drops down.

40-13 to the Jets last week and now 31-7 to the Bills. 71-20 over the last 6 quarters.

I have not watched him enough to notice but to a man you will find that every NFL coach thinks he can change that.

This team will not pick a defensive player with it's first pick. Bank on it.

True. I still think Cameron may be forced to draft one with the first if Beck doesnt show anything more than he has. Assuming he's kept on one more year that is. After passing on Quinn (a move I applaud) I think it becomes increasingly difficult to pass on another QB with our 1st if Beck continues to turnover the ball everytime he's faced with pressure. Dorsey, McFadden, Chris Long and Jake Long are all possibilities but Matt Ryan is definitely in the mix now

Time to get rid of Cam. He's lost the team. This team sucks, it's like they don't care. Nobody gets mad. This is disgusting. We need a coach to get in these guys faces.

Nahh, the media is anti Dolphin in general, Beck did deserve a chance, he just is in a bad spot Zod, no pass pro, no running game, a coach who is too conservative on offense, and bad hands right now.

Look at it this way, "if" Beck is the starter next season, if he sucks, we will have another low draft choice, if he plays mediocre we can address other needs.

Meanwhile, IMO, it is an act of enormous Will for Wayne H not to fire Cam after the final whistle blows, if we see Dom Capers answering the phone up in the booth, "Freddo" is out of here.....I'm only half joking....

Brohm is definitely more ready than Woodson with Woodson having more upside. I just think QB is still a position we have to address

How do you know that? Not that I know who they'll take. But Glenn Dorsey is a fantastic player. To assume he or ANY player, especially after what happened last year, won't go 1st overall is a major mistake.

Only offensive player worth the #1 is McFadden.

    Ryan is a turnover machine.

I'm not saying he's the man. I'm just saying that this team needs an injection of game changing talent. You don't find that in a defensive tackle in a 34 defense. As a matter of fact, you don't find a defensive tackle in a 34 defense. There is simply too much that points to another direction in the first round.

And typing this I just remembered that I misquoted Charlie Casserly. McFadden was the number two overall. He said Ryan was the best QB. My bad..... He also said that at least one team had the Hawai QB rated number 1 in the QB department. He said his stock could increase with a big game versus Georgia. Casserly said he got all this from "polling NFL teams".

His back problems will probably prevent him from being picked first. That and the fact he's a DT which is simply a position you dont draft first overall. Then again it is the Miami Dolphins and with our crack medical staff, I wouldnt be that surprised

A DT from SW Texas State can stop the run, it isn't that hard as long as you know you will need the players, to stop the run.

It doesn't require the #1 pick to do that.

Let's wait to see what happens with the coaching staff after the season to predict what'll happen in the draft. There are just too many variables to consider.

You can't completly blame Beck. The O-line is a wet paper bag. However, Beck seems to be getting worse in every game. 3 INT's last week, a fumble and total meltdown this week.

The Phins HAVE to take a QB in the draft. Beck may develop in to great QB but, the Phins can afford that bet.

Losing is one thing but the Phins are an ebarassment to to the NFL at this point. That was without a doubt, the WORST 1/2 of football I've ever seen them play. Please don't joke about Fredo. PSU fans revere that moniker for Jay Paterno.

The turnovers are way overblown with the guy. Half of them are him forcing things because his receivers cant get any seperation. He has no running backs, no receivers and is baswically forced to do it all himself. That situation leads to an increase in turnovers

your question is incomplete, place Ryan on the field with Ronnie Brown, a decent TE, and Ted Ginn, and what changes?

Place Dorsey on this field and they still would be killing us, we nned more then GD to fix the "D".

This run defense was not AS bad with Zach Thomas on the field. We are presently bleeding more from poor linebacker play. Watch Spragan. He has looked lost since the first snap. I don't know who replaced Spragan on the first TD. I think it was Pope. The Bills went right after him though as soon as Spragan left the field.

About Dorsey.... He doesn't fit the defense. He would be on the field for less than 35 snaps. He doesn't change the most ineffective unit on this squad - offense. Your best defense is a good offense. Our best offensive player is our punter. He gains more yardage than anyone on our team.

No QB at number one overall.

The way QB's have fallen the last few years, we could get one with that 32nd pick.

No offense man.....but your using the same defense for Ryan....that you are using against Beck.

:glare: I don't buy that for a second. I've watched the guy play he can be very careless with the ball. That description could be applied to Beck too, why the double standard?

I think we need to trade down with someone like Dallas if they want McFadden that much. We have too many holes now to fill and we need to get players who are hungry and not mediocre.

Your all over the map, I didn't "blame" Beck, he was in a spot that he couldn't succeed at, there is no reason to throw him overboard.

I like the idea of signing Chad Pennington BTW, or drafting Woodson or Brohm.

And "freddo" is from the Godfather II, "I'm smart.." in reference to Cam.

cam needs to be fired. after watching this team. I have no idea why we didnt pick quinn.

in this years coming draft, we NEED a QB. end of story. even if we beef up our d, what good will it do if we cant move the ball. Thats been the story the past what. 5 years. Our D keeps us in games. Our o struggles to score the ball.
