I agree. I always said if we win we have a chance to go that far, but obviously you have to win. It comes from the fact that we are so used to winning but haven't in how many years now? It's easy to get overexcited when you beat two ranked teams to start the season, especially when people say you are probably going to start 1-3 or 0-4. I'm just enjoying watching good close games again against good teams. Minus last week.
very raw but i think he might be able to handle LOT down the road. ROT at worst. After watching him for a few series plays a bit soft How bout ray ray armstrong? 2012 first rounder?
Williams is very slow off the line however. What he likes to do is come off the line slowly and then try to re-direct and ride pass rushers with his long arms, much like Branden Albert. Like Albert, he struggles with speed rushers quite a bit.
Sooners are playing like kicking a FG are beneath their dignity. So far, Ray Ray Armstrong has impressed a bit, as has the Canes Dline, Harris stopped throwing rocket balls and is just running the offense and we are driving on the Sooners. I think Harris takes another shot deep but to the Te or maybe even a Rb matched up on a LB.
Ray Ray has been really impressive. He delivers huge hits without a sacrifice in technique. Haven't really seen/noticed what he has in pass coverage.
Thinking about Jacory. I think we all need to realize he didn't see much time last year against legit college defenses. This is his first real extended playing time as a starter. I'm not surprised he looked a little lost last week. He hasn't played bad tonight, I don't think either INT is something to throw him under the bus for. But I'm glad he is getting to see some tough defenses early in his career.
Travis Benjamin is fast and that's about it. He plays like a little girl trying to avoid contact. He could have prevented an INT and had he thrown a block it would have sprung JJ for a first down. I know he is small but he can't play finesse and just try to float around the field. What in the world has happened to DVD? I know it's in vogue to rip on Sam Shields but I can't understand how an athlete who hasn't played corner in college is starting over more experienced players. We should all expect mistakes from Shields because he is really like a freshman corner. No matter the outcome of this game the Canes are young and will only get better. To see Harris go ice cold and march them down the field for a score bodes well for the future. He couldn’t have started the game any worse. He will be a true force next year at the latest.
I'm worried about OU coming out and putting up a quick score. I think if we stop them the game is in our hands, but if they score quick it could get ugly.
Well, the thing with Jacory so far is once he settled down and just ran the offense he did a great job of hitting the open man and taking the hits OU has been laying on him, since the two Int's he has played a really sharp ball game with catchable balls delivered on time to his Receivers. OU will run blitz more and Jacory has to recognize that they are coming but so far I have not seen him audible out of a running play that will get stuffed.
But where he threw the ball, up and away from the defender, meant only the Wr could catch the ball, if he had thrown it down around the numbers it would have been picked.
Holy hell... two consecutive flags on OU! OK let's put these scrubs to bed now. Posted via Mobile Device

OU is playing a bit dirty Alex44... And we have such a young team that they are not really physically up to speed as of yet. Dumbarse ruffing penalty
I cannot believe this. That call could have possibly ended our season single handedly. Come on Jacory, done these scrubs one more time. Posted via Mobile Device
