Wake HAS to remain in the starting rotation. No doubt! We need this influx of youth and talent at the LB position. He's earned for now, IMO. I have said that the lack of a pass rush is a major problem of ours, well.......

wake is sick today. henne is playing nice and conservative. missing a few passes but finding a nice rythm with bess and camarillo. cant seem to hook up with ginn yet
That's my take on it. Our WR's just aren't getting open down field I think. He's lookin to take a shot deep, but always takes off, or checks it down. Thats gotta be the case. If so, they gotta do a better job getting open, we aren't going to survive this season with a one dimensional offense.
They never showed it, but there was a play where the announcers said Henne had a wide open receiver downfield but missed him.
Pretty good first half, IMO. I would have liked us to get a FG on that last drive before half, but I'll take 17-3 and be pleasantly surprised. Henne has looked up-and-down, but more importantly we're making a concerted effort to get the ball downfield with him. We've also done a good job getting everyone involved.
Bess and Greg C are safe targets adamp, matched up with lesser Db's they will be open Ginn is drawing the Bills "best" cover corner, why reinvent the wheel and make something happen with Ginn?
I like the way things are going right now, defense is doing awesome, and the great running game is allowing Henne to get a feel for the game and get used to throwing the ball better.
three guy rotation with JT, Porter and Wake. Saves some reps on the old guys... gets Wake the reps he needs

VD starts next week. Dont know whether he replaces Smith or Will Allen though. Remember Sparano talked about one of the rooks seperating. I think Vontae just seperated a bit today from Smith
Well, we'll see how fast Peezy heals, but like I said: "Rotation" We have to at least have him sub in on occasion....at least for now. Let's see how he continues to play. It's about putting the best players in who give you the best chance to win , regardless of who is already at that position.

I figured it was just a matter of time till that leopard started showing his spots. That Jest D is pretty darn solid, but I really think the Offense is gonna hit a hard-brick wall and become extremely stagnant...
At the half... Henne 8/15, 64 yards Brown 5 carries, 50 yards Williams, 10 carries, 37 yards. Very nice so far
