Which player(s) will step up and either make plays against the Bills on offense or Defense today?

    for me:
Oline, Henne, Ricky Williams on offense

    JT, Will Allen, Phil Merling

I'm not sure we see anything other than what we have already seen. Strong running and subpar passing.

I am hoping all of them. It's a team sport. Some players have done poorly in the last few games but idealy the game should not rest on one or even a few players shoulders.

I think we have a great shot at this if everyone carries their own weight. My biggest concern is timing between O with a new QB. One week is not a lot of time to get in sink.

The ones you listed are among the more critical to me.

My gut is telling me Henne will play just fine, he knows the offense, our Oline is healthy and the Bills secondary is banged up.

I'm more worried about our secondary, we may be pouring water into a bucket with a hole in the bottom with Wilson and Bell.

Henne worries me because our offensive line hasn't been great in pass protection, and in his limited playing time he has a TERRIBLE feel for backside pressure. He holds onto the ball sometimes as the pocket just crumbles around him.

I expect him to fumble a few times as the season goes along.

dont expect to see a brand new team guys, its gonna be the same team from the last 3 weeks but now with a young and unexperienced QB

Indeed, the same car but with a different engine installed.

Wr who used to only be viable within 15 yds of the line of scrimmage now can run deeper routes and expect the ball and that is no small thing.

    1) It actually is easier to catch deep balls. The ball hits you with less velocity and you have more time to adjust. Of course you do need to make a more accurate throw, but that is on the QB not the receiver.

    2) He didn't catch the two last week because he had to completely turn his body around mid stride. He really could only have caught one of them anyway and it would have been a great catch.

Not sure why, but I went w/ the secondary. Edwards sucks, hopefully he can give us at least one ball today.

    Did you watch the game?

And thanks GridIron, saved me having to go and dig that up. I mean come on, if we are going to criticise a player lets at least use arguments that are based on more then hyperbole.
