Honestly I'd go Thomas probably. The Jets are due for a letdown in the run game. All 3 are decent matchups. Rice and Coffee are basically tossups in my book. EDIT: Unless it's PPR, then you go with Rice or Coffee.
It is PPR, duno how I forgot to mention that. I just see Bal having too many more options in what could be a close game. Coffee and SF should annihilate Stl and I would think he'd be guaranteed 20-25 carries.
I like Coffee a lot and he's going to get somewhere around 20-30 touches more than likely. Plus he's playing a Rams defense that is less than spectacular.
That Rams D is somewhere around 28th against the run. I'm sold on starting Coffee. I actually have to start Shaun Hill in another league too.
Ok, couple here for ya'll... C.Taylor or McFadden in ppr league. And pick two WR - Earl Bennett, Torry Holt, Pierre Garcon. I'm really torn on these choices, I'm thinking the wr's could be close to a wash but the RB has got me. thx.
I'd never pick a backup over a starter so DMF. I'd go Bennet and Holt. Sims-Walker is the #1 in Jax and should have the big game, not Holt. But Tenn secondary is just that beat up. Garcon seems like a big play or nothing guy. Not enough targets to start, IMO.
McFadden has just been such a dissappointment this yr. Luckily I've got by each week with a Win, despite his horrid play. Maybe this week he breaks out vs. a Hou D that's given up the most fantasy pts to rb's? Then again, Chester Taylor is prolly a solid 10 pts for me. Hmmmm...
Like you said, Houston has one of the worst D in the league. I don't think it would be too difficult for him to put up 10 in ppr.
Here's my question: 3rd flex position player, non PPR league. Ahmad Bradshaw - @KC but probable with a foot injury, splitting carries Steve Smith (NYG) - @ KC Donald Brown - Sea still splitting carries
Yeah my wife actually just picked up Coffee and is starting him this week. Smart woman. Additionally, I've got Vernon Davis starting this week - I went with him over Shockey, so hopefully that works out well.
IDK if you guys are quick enough to awnser this in 9 minutes but what would you do? PPR League: Wes Welker injured vs the Ravens or Brandon Marshall vs Dallas
Mcfadden is being dropped tomorrow. His piss poor play and performance has cost me a win this week. Lost by 8. He wont tempt me anymore..
Would you start LT or Sproles tonight? Doesnt really matter, I already won. But would like to rack up some points.
That's what I'm doing. Figure between the few carries/catches he'll get combined with the potential return yards make him more of a sure thing at this point.
Would you trade away Roddy White for Brian Westbrook? I'm hearin Westbrook is healthy again and is a dangerous threat for rec. and rushing. It is a PPR league. White is buggin' me this yr for some reason. It seems Gonzalez is takin alot of looks away, and if Turner gets hot they just keep feeding him. I can do without White and could use Westbrook. I think it's a gamble but could payout IF he can stay healthy rest of yr. What you guys/gals think?
I wanted to thank you for the advice since it was obviously very good. I was leaning toward Smith but you helped me stop second guessing myself. And barring Aaron Rodgers and Ryan Grant out scoring AP by 26 plus points I should have a win this week.
Pick the best matchup for each. PPR = YES QB #1: Eli Manning vs Oakland (Rush D: 26th, Pass D: 13th) Kurt Warner vs Houston (Rush D: 29th, Pass D: 10th) RB #2: Glen Coffee vs Atlanta (Rush D: 25th, Pass D: 27th) Tim Hightower vs Houston (Rush D: 29th, Pass D: 10th) Beanie Wells vs Houston (Rush D: 29th, Pass D: 10th) Jonathan Stewart vs Washington (Rush D: 21st, Pass D: 5th) LeSean McCoy vs Tampa Bay (Rush D: 30th, Pass D: 18th) Frank Gore vs Life (Rush D: 1st, Pass D: 1st)
Warner in what should be a shootout. Eli won't be 100% if he plays. McCoy against TB if Westbrook is out. Otherwise Coffee.
I would be left with Houshmanzadeh, Cotchery, Garcon, Holt and Massaquoi. RB's would then be Westbrook, Ronnie Brown, Gore, Coffee, Chester Taylor, and I'm in line for Harrison off waivers tomorrow.
Get this, I proposed the trade to him and he told me in a text earlier today it was a "done deal", his words. Well, he rejected it just now, lol. Thanks for your advice though.
Been leaning on Cedric Benson all year, even when the match up is bad and he's been coming through. Playing the Ravens this week. Should I keep riding him (not in a gay way) or is this finally the week we should swap him out for Ahmad Bradshaw? If he's healthy of course.
Eh I think I'd wait and see whats up with Manning. If he's still pretty bad off or not playing then I'd start Bradshaw.
Just thought I'd pass this on. I read that Roy Williams probably will not play this weekend. So if you have Patrick Crayton, this ought to be a good weekend to make sure he's in the line up.
had the same thing happen to me. After Gore had his huge game in week 2, he became the #1 scoring RB in our league. I put him on the block asking for a replacement and another good starter. Another team responded saying I could have Larry Fitzgerald and any runningback on his team except LT. I offered him the trade. He backed out. Gore gets injured on the first play of week 3. **** my life!
Need your advice for my PPR league this week: Nate Burleson vs Jacksonville Steve Smith vs Washington Kevin Walter vs Arizona Cedric Benson vs Baltimore Willis McGahee vs Bengals Clinton Portis vs Carolina I need two RB and two WR. Thanks!
