Why the **** does everyone seem to be down on illegals? What do they take from you, how do they lower the average American's quality of life that they should get all the ****?
I think, for the most part, I tend to agree with you Nabo. However, there are times where they are traffic hazards in high density neighborhoods around the S.F. Bay Area. They are very aggressive ( I had a few literally jump into the back of my truck while I was driving through Berkeley once). Plus, any cromes they commit, directly affect us as a society, not to mention emergency room care that some get that everyone has to pay for. But overall, for the mostpart, they don't affect MY life, other than the fact that most of them are building our homes, schools and other permanent structures and that I can't communicate with them to insure quality. I feel that I shouldn't have to go out of my way to learn their language while they are illegally here. Just my two political cents.
But since no one wants to get heavy with this topic, my official response is...they smell funny, that's why.

But what's that to you? What exactly do they take from you (and by "you," I mean every American who complains about illegals) that they merit taking your focus off the myriad problems we face as a nation to put the bullseye on them? Americans act as though they really are bitter about missing out on those jobs cleaning rooms at La Quinta. Live and let live, man.
live and let live if they take time to become legal citizens. people that come here from india do it, and they really are beneficial to this country....they become doctors, run businesses, and pay taxes. the illegals come here, get paid under the table, dont pay taxes, populate our prisions, commit crimes, use our emergency rooms, get behind the wheel of cars.....its all a joke. they come here, take tests, learn our language and become american citizens then great. but i spent too many times on lake worth road in west palm seeing owners of car shops chasing illegals down military trail who just stole something from them, seen too many of my friends get jumped and robbed, talked to too many people where i worked that i couldnt help because they dont learn our language and expect something from us like we owe it to them. so **** that. i love the "they dont effect us" dribble......so drunk driving laws in montana shouldnt be worried about by me in nc cause it doesnt effect me? go to west palm, turn on the fox 10 oclock news tonight and count the stories of some legal american citizen that was killed by someone running a red light and its a illegal citizen who doesnt have a license, and shouldnt have been on the road. i dont sympathize for them. never will. they can have rights if they become citizens.....till then.....they dont deserve rights, they havent earned rights (when they can if they want to) they over populate our schools, ERs and streets. and imo (you dont have to agree) they are a problem.
Well said.......and you and I are from the exact same area. Bottom line is you have to live it, to fully understand the situation. It has to be in your own back yard. And the thing is.....it's steadily getting worse If only that were the case....they're getting any and all jobs and taking them away from Americans who's families have been here for centuries paying taxes, fighting wars and settling frontiers.....building this country. Most of the new wave of immigrants have no vested interest in this country what so ever..... they're here to feed off the resources and when that tit goes dry they'll just go back to where they came from. In fact, most of them plan on going back to their home country one day anyway, they're just here to make money and go back to live a much more prosperous life than their country affords them. It's hard for us to compete with them for jobs when they live 3 families to a 3 BR house....of course they work cheaper, they can afford to. And this isn't even touching on taxes or the way they eat up the governmental resources that are supposed to be there for the American families that have been footing the bill to provide those resources. Not to mention the crime and the ghetto-ization of everywhere they're found in huge numbers. This may not be a problem everywhere to the extent that it is here.....but it's to the point where most Americans in south Florida want nothing more than to escape. My family settled here 95 years ago when this was a jungle....I love this place. And yet I dream of the day I wave it all good bye.
I love when people say this, like they have any clue of what it takes for people to come to this country and become a resident or citizen legally. Alot of them actually do pay taxes. They are employed with fake SSN cards, and taxes are taken out. Matter of fact, the government gets a little more money fome tax season since these people cannot legally claim any tax returns. When they drive cars, they also pay for their own gas, which affects the economy. They pay for food and goods just like you and I do, another way they help contribute to the economy. Dude, even if every latino person in this country were legal, they still would speak spanish, so just get over it. You shouldn't fear it just because you don't understand it.
speaking spanish is fine. but not even trying to learn english.....then my mom cant get a job cause its manditory to be bi-lingual its a ****ing joke.

Last year I went to Mexico with one hand out but with something in the other. Just to let you know if you have certain things in your free hand you still aren't welcomed...stoopid uptight Mexicans, never up for a party.
I wonder why we don't all speak Chippowah, Seminole, or Cherokee I wonder why we celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas instead of indulging in fire water and peace pipe smoking.
