Just a HORRIFIC offensive set of plays. Go to the wildcat on 1st and make them stop it - then bring Henne in. Or, throw a play action pass on 1st down. That was WAY too conservative. I hate offenses that go into a tank when they get a lead. It only leads to confidence and hope for the opponent and it puts all the pressure on the D.
Is anyone else noticing how completely VANILLA our defense is? The front 7 has been in this D for two years now and you'd think we'd have a wrinkle or two! Even the Jets D - in their 1st year under Ryan is far more imaginative. You know Porter is used to exotic blitz packages that he had on the Steelers.
