I've been kinda freaked out about this game but had a little clarity this morning. We've played Peyton Manning already and he is every-bit as good as Brees, better actually. The Colts went up and down the field on us which I believe served as a good lesson. I believe we'll need to throw a lot of different blitz packages at Brees and be really physical with the receivers. The Dolphins will definitely try to stuff the running game first then apply the pressure to Brees. If we can't get pressure it will be a long day which I'm sure Sparano has been preaching... The Jets thought they had a good defense too by the way. That was all the talk going into the MNF game!

I see this game going one of two ways.

    A. We come out the gate slow and this turns into a blow out as Brees completes 10-20 yd passes with ease.

    B. We come out and run our offense like we are very capable of and this game comes down to whoever has the last possession.

I personally see scenario B playing out. Between the Giants emotional game last week, Miami's bye week, and the huge divisional MNF game following this week, this game is going to be a lot closer than the general public will believe. This could be a statment game for the Phins.

Outside of this game, I always root for the Saints. They have an awesome team and I hope they represent the NFC in the superbowl. Brees and the rest deserve it.

thats good analysis and i agree, i just think our hybrid will be as effective on them, as their offense will be on us, and hopefully with our style, we win that important TOP, limit his possessions, and outlast them.....

Either that, or physically pound them, shut down their overrated running attack, Rush the passer, and dont look at the scoreboard til its over.

I think we have it in us to do all three.

The one consistent we have on this team is ronnie browns vision out of the wildcat..over the course of a game, his decision making out of this formation, is high level ability....To know we can count on that as a team every week is golden, that fact that its so physical and intimidating is comforting.

Did you watch that NYG game? I don't know that it makes any difference whether the passes are completed with bad coverage or with good coverage because a completed pass is a completed pass, but Brees is phenomenal with ball placement.

Brees is also good at staring down his receivers. Hope he does it on Sunday.

Both Brees and Manning are playing at an amazingly high level of football right now.

I watched the game live and replay of the Giants Saints game....They had so many blown coverages and the DBs were falling all over themselves. It was more of a sloppy game by the Giants DBs than it was a great game by Brees and the offense. CC Brown Looked horrible .

    Good luck to you also!
I checked the site out. Pretty good fans over there. Several completely uninformed post about our team but a friendly site. Thanks for coming by. Its nice not to talk to a complete ****** like every Jets fan in the world.
