I'm sorry but with all due respect to those Saints fans that are visiting us this week here is my answer to their invensibility. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYKIcnj1MJY"]YouTube - Dennis Green After Da Bears Loss[/ame] We need to play our game, Drew Brees is only one man - A very good one but one none the less. We have Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams to counter and don't forget they too are pretty damn good! their wideouts are ok but nothing special and all we have to do is NOT let them play their game. We must be phyical with them! As far a big time score well they need to keep in mind we now have the Henne/Ginn express also. I don't want to get into a air battle because it will be to our advantage to control the clock but lets not sell ourselves short here Dolphin fans. We will be the baddest team these Saints have faced so far. May the best man win! As Marty says "Why not us?"
I must say that I'm disappointed in the poll results. 30% of you guys think that y'all will lose. What's up with that? Fanaticism should rule here ,not realism.
Depends on the day of the week, the last game played, and how much we (as a whole) have had to drink that day.
on a different note, i watched the replay of the NYG / NO game ... and what stood out to me was the way each and every WR/TE attacked the football to make the catch from Brees; our WRs could get much out of watching that ... step 1: catch the ball ... step 2: YAC ...
i dont believe in that stuff and positive thinking even though i respect what you say {its gets in the way of objective analysis}, this is not about "why not us" speeches, this is about talent vrs talent, coaching, closeness as a football team and how well conditioned both teams are.. I just dont see how they can stop us, were to physical, and our backs are too talented not to take advantage of that physicality.
I actually think we can not only win but destroy them. The more I think about the game the more I'm convinced that we will own them on offense. On defense I think it comes down to what kind of schemes we come up with and if they are the right ones then it comes down to flawless execution. This is the type of game that secondaries live for. I have a strange feeling that we are going to see the best game yet from our secondary. Brees likes to throw jump balls. I think we're going to have several interceptions. I know it seems like its outrageous to think this way but I just got a hunch that we're going to shock the world this Sunday and it wont even be close
They are on the "smallish" side on D so the "Smashcat" should have success in both yardage and wearing them down...like was said before the colts game plan with a few more stops on D is in order..for us to win. Posted via Mobile Device
GoFish! with every week: 1) Henne moves more in sync w/ the WR's 2) the Orca-5 get stronger 3) the defensive backfield grows into the game 4) they play us in the BermudaTriangle of the NFL Miami over the Saints (24/27): & there will be blood in the water @ LandShark Stadium this Sunday
I LOVE having to eat crow for these kinds of predictions, but in my feeble mind, Miami is going to have to get turnovers, and disrupt the passing game to an extent they haven't displayed yet. I like our rooks, but you can still see them making rook mistakes, especially timing. Brees completes passes against great coverage, so absent some down day for him (and they do happen), he'll have no problem competing against our sometimes good, sometimes competent, sometimes awful coverage. I think our O can move the ball against them and control the clock. I don't think our D can come up with the stops / TOs to get us the win. Put it together, Miami is going to have to rise to a level of play better than anything they've done so far and / or NO is going to have to slack in order for the Phins to pull out a win. Rational analysis requires that you go with the things you have seen rather than the things you hope you will see, so New Orleans wins this one.
I looked deep inside my crystal ball.......I'm seeing some initials here.........JT, JP, CW and CA. Yes.....Charlie Anderson.
