The Jets had Jenkins for the whole game against us adamp, he went out of the Bills game fairly early with maybe a serious injury.

Damien Woody also left due to injury.

The Bill's Edwards got his bell rung as well.

i wish jenkins he best. he's a real pro. a real stud. and im tired of all the jest fans and their ridiculous excuses. they lost to the team that lost 6-3 to the browns. they lost at home. they are not a very good team. and id prefer them to lose WITH jenkins.

Thank You for giving me another week of silence and heads down. Its so amazing what a Jet loss does for people keeping thier mouths closed and how easy it is to wake up at 4am for work! :)

If they did indeed lose Jenkins for the season, it could be a very very tough year for them indeed.

Losing two of their in division games and probably breaking even at best, with such a tight division is going to be VERY rough to come back from.

They're one more divisional loss from effectively being bumped out. And I'd love to be the guys to give it to them. Double up on the Jets, maybe double up on the bills and split with the pats.

One thing is for sure, they're on the ropes now. Maybe Oakland can pick up another win next week and make this an easy knockout for us.

    I got a buddy who's a typical jet fan. He's crushed.

The jets were 3-1 with the following games in front of them: @Miami, Buffalo, @Oakland, Miami. They really thought they'd be 7-1 going into the bye. Now, they're 3-3 and the "wins" at Oakland and vs. Miami don't look so easy no more. Hahahaha!

Plus, Jenkins is most likely out for the season.

And then there's that little problem that MARK SANCHEZ CANNOT THROW THE BALL IN COLD, WINDY WEATHER!!! Ooops, too bad they didn't think about that when they fell in love with him. Maybe Sanchez's "it factor" can complete those passes!

Talk about the ultimate gamble. I think they rolled the dice going after Sanchez and will pay the price for sometime to come.
As Joewilly at Jestnation put it, he doesn't have that "It" factor, he has that "Int" factor

How do you all think the Jets fare traveling to the west coast this week to play the Raiders? Last year, the Jets lost all of their 3 west coast games. I think the Raiders have a great shot. On the plane ride west, the Jets are listening to freefallin, watching Rex Ryan lipsync, and the Raiders are fresh off an exciting upset win. What are you guys thoughts???

Edit - Not to mention, the loss of Kris Jenkins.

That could be a tough game for the Jets. The Raiders got a TON of pressure on McNabb. It really depends on which Jets team shows up in Oakland. The Raiders haven't done anything on offense, but with Kris Jenkins out you have to like Oaklands odds.

I LOL'd. And the Jets should beware the black hole. I heard Al Davis summoned some of his seacreature pals to help motivate the team. The seacreatures walked into the locker room and said "You must defeat those birds. As seacreatures, we eat birds all of the time." (Referring to the Philly game)

In case you didn't already know, Al Davis is in fact a seacreature.

since this is the Jets news thread...i thought i'd add this bit of news. in team defensive sacks, the jets rank dead last. DEAD LAST.

what happened to that all world D, with the masterful Rexy and his smashmouth style. that big pressure that was to make teams quake in their cleats?

with big Jenks...they rank 21st against the run

    8th against the pass

    dead last in sacks

    very meh!

Why did it take you so long to come back after we smashed the Jets on MNF? Seems to me that you didn't show up for like 10 days.

    Just saying.

Well, by us and the Saints for certain.

Yopur FO brought in Sexy Rexy, and overpaid for several FA's just to be 8th in Pass defense, and almost dead last in rushing defense and sacks.
With Jenkins out,qnd NOBODY to fill his spot, those numbers are only going to get worse BZ
