Went to see [IMG]today. It had a very limited release and I didn't hear about it until I saw it in the movie listings.
If you're into 'isolated in space' movies (there's an extremely small cast) with an interesting storyline twist, then I'd recommend it.

BTW, had a pretty cool trailer for a vampire movie coming out called 'Daybreakers'. http://daybreakersmovie.com/

    Law Abiding Citizen.

    Fun revenge movie.

Lots of exciting noises and explosions.

The moral: Don't **** around with a man who has nothing to lose.

I always heard a lot of good things about this movie.

Honestly, I wanted to like it more than I actually did.

Zombieland - Not bad, about what I thought it was going to be. This new kid that played 'Columbus' (Adventureland) is like Michael Cera (Superbad) but not quite as funny.

    And...
Bill Murray's scene stole the entire movie. Hilarious.

The SPOILER was great, but I don't think anyone stole that movie from Woody.

My question is that if Wichita & Little Rock are sisters why do they use different cities as names? And
how were they safe enough in the store to come up with their plan?

    Woody was great.

There were some loopholes to be sure. They didn't even try to explain most of it. But I wondered the same thing.

I thought it was a fun classically styled horror film. The scares weren't all cheap, the effects were fun, and the storyline was cool, even though a little 'cookie cutter'.

Last movie I remember seeing was Max Payne. I like the part at the end of the movie where Max takes that crazy drug and starts screaming, the roof gets torn off and the demons are swirling around.

Vampires have been so fagged out over the last 10 years or so that any Vampire movie coming out makes my *** hair curl up in fear. What we need is a fresh look at the genre, we need to make them fearful killers again. I don't know if anyone here has read the Necroscope series by Brian Lumley, but those vampires were horrible and savage, an adaptation to the big screen would be fantastic.

The only half decent vamp flick from recent years that comes to mind is 30 Days of Night.

Yea I was just gonna say 30 Days of Night.

I think the whole vampire genre has just been done to death by now. I really don't see anything new they could do with it at this point.

Werewolves were always way better anyways.

But the whole Vampire/Werewolf war thing is pretty gay. If you think Vampires have been overdone, check out Necroscope, Lumley reinvented the vampire IMO and did so in a way that is the polar opposite of the common romanticized vision that so many have embraced. He's made them a tenacious evil race that is very hard to put down forever. I don't want to give away too much.

I love zombie flicks, but they are getting a bit overdone as well. I love the fact that they're being spoofed now (Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland) and have enjoyed the Resident Evil series as well as the redone Dawn of the Dead (The recent version of Day and Night of were horrible) and 28 Days Later.

They'll fade out again once every single penny has been squeezed out of the genre and something new (or old and rehashed) will take their place.
