I disagree, we have much bigger needs than WR, or even upgrading our redzone offense. This doesn't mean we don't upgrade the position, but you don't spend a 1st on something that isn't a top 3 position need.
Surrrrrrrre... I guess your pretty adept at using the force then because I am guessing thats as close as you get to actually playing in a game. Then again maybe not as our Teams unit hasnt been exactly earth shattering either
Wasnt a shot bro I thought the icons of laughing and winking and the funny one with the tongue would be enough to show it was all in good fun... Guess not.
If WR isn't a top 3 need on this team, then please let me know what is. Outside of Safety, it's THE PRIMARY need. MLB and NT are not a more pressing need than WR at the moment And even though Safety is our weakest point right now, we still have a lot of money locked into that position and we still have Clemons who may be a promising prospect for the future.
We drafted 2 WRs this past year... I think we'll let them develop and address LB, NT, and S in 2010. I could be wrong but I don't see us drafting a WR unless it's a big time WR in the first round.
Yeah I was wishing we traded for someone like Bowe but I am not disappointed. The draft picks are like treasure to the front office. I remember reading somewhere where Ireland traded a seventh rounder and Parcells approved but as long as he got the pick back somehow,if they value a seventh rounder like that then early picks must be gold to them.
Everybody needs to give Henne a chance to make our WR's look better before you talk about using draft picks, specially multiple draft picks, to acquire a WR. A 2nd round pick could be a talented player like sean smith and a 5th round pick could be a talented player like zach thomas. And you guys want to use 2 picks for 1 WR. Give me a break. Specially after you see Henne and Ginn go off this year!
Im really not happy i wanted a WR so we can have someone to throw deep too.I will wait and see what Bill or the coach have to say on sunday.
I saw every game. ILB, Safety, TE, and I would even say OLB due to the age of our starters, are all bigger needs than WR. Our redzone offence has been fine the last few games.
