we've been a franchise for over 40 years and our two best running backs of all time are both currently on the roster. (assuming csonks a FB of course)

Man that's great. We will be able to see Ronnie Brown break the record if he stays with the team.

 

Wow ricky is second and he does not even get alot of carries ...Scary

 

Good for ronnie, i think ricky will end his career just missing out on being #1 while ronnie will hopefully eventually smash it.

Good for Ronnie. Would love to see him get #1 all time. Couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

 

Dan Marino would have won multiple Super Bowls with either one of those 2 tanks as his RB (Ronnie Brown or Ricky Williams).

Looking at all of these number, I also found this little tidbit. It's not about the Phins, but it's still noteworthy.

The Seahawks are on a bye this week, then they play the Cowboys on Nov 1. If Edgerrin James can get 15 yards rushing in that game, he'll move into 10th all time with 12,244 yards, taking out Marcus Allen. It should be a pretty big day for him.

 

I find this comment to be quite humorous. Ricky dont get a lot of carries these days. Now when Wanny was in charge....

well he was all we had offensively when Wanny was in charge.

 

wanny was a tool responsible for a lot of failures, but that wasn't one of them.

That, my friend, was Norv Turners fault. Who runs the ball almost 800 times in two years and is still considered an offensive genius?

 

this is a telling stat/fact.

Ronnie is having the best start to a season for a RB in the AFC in the past 4 years.

In 2005, Tomlinson finished with 1462 rushing yards and 20 total TDs. Ronnie is on pace to match those numbers nearly identically this season. Both occurring in their 5th seasons as a Pro.

Worthy of note: Tomlinson followed his 05 performance by breaking the TD record with 31, and earning the title of league MVP in 2006.

RW will probably end up third overall, assuming he sticks to his plan of playing this year and next before retiring. I don't think he'll get 1700 more yards in that time frame. With RB it depends upon whether he's re-signed (which I really hope happens). If he is then I would expect him to add another 5,000 - 6,000 yds to his current total.
