**** no. i have been negative towards ginn, and i would cry if we traded him (enless we get a #1 wr and a pick) which i doubt. hell no to ginn for a 2nd rounder. if we trade him to the ravens....i want ed reed and todd heap this BETTER NOT happen
we won't trade Ginn for 'just' a draft pick ... at least not now during the season ... we have to either have another guaranteed trade, such as Bowe, or a swap for that to happen ... as much as i may seem to unappreciate Ginn, i would like to see him in a Terry Glenn role, complimentary speedy WR, opposite a true big threat WR ... and see what we got. of course, then what do we do with Turner, Bess, CAM and Hartline ... Turner becomes almost irrelevent before he starts, and CAM would have to go as well - as i doubt we get rid of Bess or Hartline ... that is why i believe that 1 - we don't trade Ginn during the season 2 - if we pick up a 'Bowe', CAM will be involved in the trade along with a lower pick or 2 ... but there is no way we trade Ginn without a backup plan ... and i don't believe that plan is Turner ...
I don't think that Ginn's going anywhere. Him and Chad are just getting started working together on the 1st team full time. With a little more time they could be a pretty effective combo on a regular basis. With his experience, Henne needs somebody to throw to that he's as familiar with as possible right now. If you trade Ginn and possibly bring in somebody else, there's a chance of taking a step in the wrong direction.
I think Marty pointed this out on another part of the site, but last year Armando had us trading away Ronnie at the deadline, so there's your lead-up for this story. It's bunk.
Teddy isn't going anywhere. Especially after Henne seems to have a connection with him already. I don't know about everyone else, but I want to see some more of those 50+ bombs.
Please God DONT trade my buddy Teddy. I really hope this doesn't happen. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Has anyone talked to the rest of the Ginn family? Why would we give up an entire family for one other player.
LOL...good one Gunn. Ginn ain't goin' nowhere. This is the same baseless rumor stuff that has us gettin' Bowe. Ain't...gonna...happen. So, let's just get ready for the Aints...K?
Why would we trade a player who is just beginning to come into his own with Henne? Why would we bring in a player in the middle of the season who doesn't know the playbook and will not make any immediate impact? Doesn't make any sense to me at all. Won't happen.
No way Baltimore would give him up. He is the best LB to ever play the game to this day. And he also leads his team in tackles. He is still damn good.
I have met Ray and Ed Reed several times in person. Ray is a better person than people may think. But I dont blame you for thinking that because the whole incident he had earlier in his career.
He was involved in a double homicide. That's why the first thing he said after beating the Dolphins in the playoffs last year is "First off I want to thank God." People who killed people turn their life over to God in the hope that they don't burn in hell. Sorry Ray. You're going to burn.
I met ray and he was mad straight.....oh no dont start puttin religion in here, this is a football forum
How Ginn does during the rest of the season now that he has a strong arm at QB is going to tell us a lot.
Let's see. We drafted him and his family ninth overall. We've spent the better part of three seasons developing him into a veteran receiver. For the first time, he has a guy throwing to him who can utilize his speed. I know it was just one play, but Henne threw that ball 55 yards in the air and no one else had the speed to be there but Ginn. He was led open and had two steps on the nearest defender. And that's just one pass in Henne's second start. Eventually they're going to get on the same page on other go routes -- sideline, out, corner, comebacks, where Henne is going to throw him frozen ropes or let him run under a perfect catenary. He can produce with these without getting himself killed in traffic. He is our way to stretch the field. If you give him some decent blocking, he can return kicks, too. And some of you want to trade him for an unknown second round pick? Makes no sense. Keep Ginn. See if you can get a seventh for his family.
I said the same **** ealier but mods deleted posts, guess I was a little too confrontational and ppl got there panties ina bunch
Didn't you just see how the admin deleted the posts related to this? And I have a pretty good idea that he was involved. So do a lot of other folks, including the police and prosecuting attorneys. But they didn't have enough "evidence", right? Just like I "have absolutely no idea if OJ was INVOLVED or was a bystander."
Everyone knows that leather doesn't shrink when it gets saturated in blood. ps. Look at the big smile on his face.
GinnJr has been served w/a wake-up call & new QB no excuses it is my expectation that he will fulfill his role as the SpecialTeams Ace & DeepThreat WR promised if not, he wil not be a Miami Dolphin in 2010 respectfully agree: politics & religion have no place on a football forum. we have a lounge to sport & debate other opinions
Unless he goes back to disappearing on us, I see him at least being here thru 2010. We don't really need to replace him as much as we just need to replace him as our number one. I think he has a role on the WR unit, just as Cam and Bess do. Now if he starts getting pissy about wanting more money, then not only should we trade him, I'd take him out behind the Davie practice field and pistol whip him.
