This video really touched me. I can't thank all of you enough who served our country. I actually signed up for the Marines two years ago and was highly recruited. I was planning on going into OCS because I have a college degree and I wanted to do intel because I'm decent with computers (even though I can't photoshop lol). I have a lot of respect for all areas of the military, but especially the Marine Corps. Ever since I was a little kid I wanted to be a Marine. I will tell you the truth as to why I had to get out of my contract. People have laughed at me and ridiculed me over my reason to get out, but I will be honest with you. I'm sure you all remember that season in 2007, when we went 1-15 and the Patriots came 30 seconds away from breaking our beloved Undefeated record. I was so distraught over the possibility of the Patriots (of all teams) breaking the record that I had to see a psychiatrist and have him write a letter to the Marine Corps stating that I was not suitable to enlist. I told my therapist that if the record was broken, I was going to go after Belicheat. And I couldn't imagine being in bootcamp and hearing that the record had in fact been broken. I would have seriously flipped out. And I did NOT want to disrespect the Marine Corps.
Thanks for sharing Celtkin. That was awesome! There needs to be a LOT more of that kind of recognition and appreciation of our military. Regardless of where you stand on the war and politics, you have to respect the fact that these brave men and women put their lives on the each and every day so we can enjoy the freedoms that we all take for granted.
Nobody responded to my post about how I had to get out of my contract. People have laughed at me and ridiculed me over it, but I told you the truth. Do you have any thoughts on what I said? I'm not proud of what happened.
Balloon Boy, erhm, "tribute" *some language* http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/d0410c8230/i-m-in-a-box-balloon-boy-parody
I'm sure between the lot of us lounge rats that are FB friends we could have some epic conversations.
Somebody tell L2G we need a quick, cheap photoshop. Man, it took a long time to find one that would be acceptable.
