Jet fans didn't even do this. This fan is thinking about the Falcons game already. As a fan I would want to worry about the weekend at hand, rather then thinking about the next team already. I can't wait for Sunday to get here. Let's Go Dolphins!

I think he gives us credit.

Sure he kind of looks past us in a way but at least he says they might lose.

But why would you even look past the team you are playing this weekend?

I went over to saintsreport.com and most of the posters were realistic about the upcoming game. Then there were some that just pissed me off.

    look at their predictions.

the best point total anybody over there has given us is 17. the smallest amount of points they have given the saints is 34.

most of the predictions are 45 - 10, 52-16 etc...

I just learned from a saints fan that is being backed up by many that Ronnie Brown apparantly is about the 6th 7th or 8th best runningback they will face this year.

These people are insulting in their confidence.

they DESERVE that franchise. I changed my mind about those people.

I agree, maybe not with that one poster but the general feel I get from that site is we are just a bug on the windshield.

I remember at the beginning of the season how much hope we the fans had with our secondary. A couple of stud rookies mixed in with some quality vets. This group will/should continue to get better and better as the year goes on. We really need that group to stand up and be accounted for this game.

We also need Joey, Taylor and Wake (if used) to love up to expectation.

I can see about being cocky and in great spirits about your team, but this comes off with arrogance to me. I want our Dolphins to play 60 minutes of hard hitting football, so they know they played the Miami Dolphins.

It just seems that fans of a team that has spent most of it's existence in the NFL basement would be a little more humble.

Well the next game is a division game for them.

I understand what you're getting at because I don't focus any game past the one we're playing, but I know I like to think about sweeping our division 24/7. We're not even in the same conference, so their division game is loads more important to a fan than an AFC matchup. Unless of course it comes down to that, but at undefeated currently I don't see it happening.

At least I could see how that person sees it that way.

Dude...some of them are openly talking about going undefeated.

one guy was talking about wether they "should" "go for" 60 points this week to prove they can do it.

Another one thought it would be great to scrap their game plan and run the wildcat on us for 300 yards and get a shut out.

another said that their 3 backs are better than our 2.

    it is endless.

Yeah, THAT WHAT I'M TALKING BOUT! Don't take that kind of chit lying down Fin fans, Realistically, contrary to popular belief, the Saints can be beat.
Dolphins with a young, talented Chad Henne at the helm, with a powerful running game, Yep i could see a Dolphins win. Key is ball control, keep "Mole boy" off the field as much as possible. And did i mention -

    Lets go Dolphins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a great point, and please correct me if I am wrong or missed a game. But win or lose since Parcel's, Ireland and Sparano have taken control of this team we have always Win or lose Played Hard for 60 minutes. I cannot recall one game where this team quit.

Phinfans should check out JT's 10/22 interview on Aquavision, the whole team has been hearing this stuff for the entire bye week.

Basically they've been disparaged and talked badly about for almost two weeks, that can hurt a man's pride.

Don't mind the Saints wish them the best in the NFC, but let's turn them back into the 'Aints for one game! We are honoring the 1982/1984 AFC Championship teams, let's put them back into those dreadful times for them. And if we don't in the first half...let's hope the rainstorm moves in at the half. The Giants didn't have a wildcat on their side. And this one is not in the dome.

Sounds like we just need to get out there and whup sum butt, I'd really like to see the '72 Dolphins Vets drinking some champagne after this game

I think if any team can beat the Saints, we can, but only if all the stars align and our D comes to play just as big as our O has recently.

I would call it more hopefulness or wishful thinking if you'd rather and besides , that's what fans do. The longer a win streak goes the more the media keeps it hyped up and the fans torqued up. It's not because it's the Dolphins, it's because it's the next opponent. In truth the Dolphins and the Patriots are the two teams left on the Saints schedule that are non-conference games so in effect they are the two games that mean the least in the overall scheme of things. The Falcons game is big. It's a Monday night divisional home game. Many Saints fans have an all most unnatural hatred towards the Falcons that can only be rivaled by their hatred of the Cowboys.

the more i think about this game, the more I'm convinced we'll win and win going away. I think we have some serious pressure packages put in for this game and Brees will be contained. They dont have a running game that can hurt us. Their defense is good but nothing special. They got off to a fast start but I just dont see a 14-2 team. I think the second half of the season they come back down to earth. Probably an 11-5 or 12-4 team when the season is over

Really? Cmon my man, the Aints are good, but not that good. Have a little team spirit. geez, i mean i'm not on here to stir the pot per se, i actually think y'all have a chance to pull off the upset, particularily at home. Contain Pierre Thomas, put a little pressure on Brees and it's a done deal.

    Lets go Dolphins!!!!

Look i can't stand the Aints, But good luck containing Pierre Thomas, dude's
a very good back. As far as Reggie Bust, he's not so good running inside, but
watch out is he gets to the outside, that plus he scary returning kicks.
I too am not entirely sold on their defense, given the level of competition
thus far (less the Gmen). Anyways, think positive and go Dolphins....

Interesting, this is the first time in 2009 I Pete and I see eye to eye :shifty:

Keep it all in perspective folks.
These are the Saints we are talking about.
Any of their fans that are overlooking this game and/or slighting the fins are just ignorant.

Their three backs are better than our two? At what? Taking up seats on a bus?
Run the wildcat against us for 300 yards? Cmon, who thinks these types of things up? 1st graders?

When the Saints come marching in, they will first be impressed with how clean Miami is compared to NO, and they will be very aware that the Phins are fighting to stay in a division hunt.
