So I need a win to gain the lead. Here is my starters, should I bench someone in favor of another? Tom Brady Ronnie Brown Darren Sproles Steve Breaston Wes Welker Miles Austin Jason Witten Vikings D Akers Bench Felix Jones Mike Bell Devin Hester Roy Williams Chad Henne BYE K. Moreno Calvin Johnson Mike Sims-Walker U get ST points per player thats why Sproles is in there but he has only one carrie in the last two games...he would be the guy I was thinking about replacing, but only Mike Bell or Felix Jones. NEED HELP
I've had Sproles benched almost the entire season. I'm also in 1st place matching up with number 2 this week. Here's the lineup I'll probably go with but that could change, particularly at QB where i'm still thinking about it: QB Jay Cutler WR Roddy White WR Derrick Mason RB DeAngelo Williams RB Steve Slaton TE Dallas Clark WR/RB Ricky Williams K Nate Kaeding D/ST Minnesota Bench QB Tony Romo QB Matt Ryan RB Hightower (the guy in Arizona, can't remember his first name) WR Austin Collie RB Darren Sproles WR Ted Ginn Jr. (going to cut him soon, probably when Minnesota has a bye and I need to pick up another D for a week.) Bye WR Chad Ochocinco Right now I'm thinking hard about swapping Jay Cutler with Tony Romo. Partly because of Romo's recent performances and Cutler's recent struggles and partly due to my opponent starting Austin Miles. If Miles has another big game starting Romo could neutralize that for me. I haven't even thought about putting Sproles in my lineup for a while though.
Id consider Ryan seeing as you have R.White, The Saints have a good defense but I dont see them shutting down Ryan and Co. ecspecially since this MNF matchup could equal a shootout.
Romo would have been the best option in hindsight but I doubt it would have saved me. I lost by about 30. My whole team had a crappy week. Steve Slaton got benched and completely screwed me over. This week should look better, Cutler is going to ride the pine and I picked up Slaton's backup just in case they name him the starter. I get Ochocinco back and with Minnesota on a bye I was fortunate that the Pittsburgh D was available to fill in.
