has not one player on the injury report, i realize we just had a bye week , but what do you think how much has this to do with the offseason program that our guys go through ? http://www.nfl.com/injuries also the jets flying all the way to the west coast and then coming back to play us is something that cannot be underestimated for them, i hope they get pounded physically
absolutely. i commented that somewhere on here. they dont travel west well, and could seriously fall into a hole. sweeping the Jets would be amazing, and to be honest, the stars are aligning to make it possible.
coaching, coaching & coaching it is part & parcel or the NewRegime indicative of the culture & climate developed by the best of the NFL
Well, they did just beat Philly, so anything's possible. Just think...if we take care of business tomorrow and beat the Saints, and the Jests lose to the Raiders, it could make for a very interesting rematch in NY next week.
It is not like we don't have ppl that are hurt or should I say have been hurt. Haven't we lost a couple people fo the season? Cobbs (I forget who the other person was). Porter has been hurt all season. Crowder was in the bike a few days last week.... Roth...
I've seen two Raiders games and they can get pretty physical. They may not be able to win but they can beat them up a bit.
It has less to do with the offseason conditioning program and more to do with the mentality of what it means to be INJURED. The new understanding in Miami: If you feel pain, you can play. It's the middle of the football season. You all should feel pain somewhere. If you are injured, you can't play. Whining about injuries spreads like cancer in a locker room. So you find out who those guys are and you rid yourself of them. When you rid yourself of the cancer, suddenly you have a clean injury report on a weekly basis. I guarantee that we have no less than 7 on the injury report if the group was under some other regime.
The addition of Seymour is something that cannot be overlooked. It seems like the defense is rallying around his leadership. As much as I don't like New England and their players, he is having an effect on Oakland's defense. If Al Davis comes to his senses (which he won't), he should bench Jamarcus. I don't even know who their backup QB is. Anyone know? It might even be Jay Fiedler for all I know.
Problem is that one game they are physical and then the next they roll over, get their *** kicked, etc.
If they had started Garcia they would be .500 for the season. As for the injury report, all of our injuries have been season ending ones, Roth is in a limbo were he doesn't count as being an injured player.
Seymour is a great football player, he can raise their level of play, the jets losing that game is a real possibility.. New england losing a player of that magnitude hurts them as we stand here today, bigtime.
