I can't believe OSU lost that game, I figured someone would upset them, but didn't believe it would be Purdue. Pryor just looks like an awful QB, wow.
Wow, I'm LOL'ing at Arkansas right now. So many missed opportunities. And Petrino should be shot in the face for playing for a FG on 3rd and 5.
If the kicker hits it they are in OT. My main problem is the direction they ran, they should have run it to the center of the field.
No. They should of passed the ball. You don't play for FG's and expect to win against the #1 ranked team in the country. Doesn't work that way I'm afraid.
They went for it on fourth and goal earlier in the game. They weren't playing for FG's They short/intermediate passing game was terrible. Their running game was not. They played to what was working IMO.
Doesn't matter, you throw to get a 1st down and win the game. I knew as soon as they ran it the game was over.
It's not that I dont agree they should have passed, I just don't have a problem with the run. I have more issue with the direction they ran it. Especially considering their kickers last miss. Also as for when the game was over....I knew it when the refs gave Florida a gift wrapped TD with those two penalties.
Those 2 penalties were pretty pathetic. But I'm just not a "play not to lose" kind of guy I guess because when you play a superior team, it's gonna bite you every time. We seen it with the Colts game on 3rd and 6 and 3rd and 7 unfortunately.
I throw it 10/10 times as well, just saying I can see why they would run it. #33 was having his way with the Gator defense that entire half.
Yeah, with a REAL sh**head running it. I hope Bama gets caught with their hands Soooooo deep in the recruiting sugar bowl
He's a very good coach, and Bama is a very good team. I enjoy Tide games, and respect their history. Most college teams would be lucky to have a coach as good as Saban heading their program. Not sure why you call him "Lord" or anything like that though.
He has already taken to higher ground 3 times with 3 different teams. He is a salesman, a traveling salesman. He promised the world to the organization I love the most, and he took his money and ran.......weeks after he swore he wouldnt. He is a POS, and Bama's crediblity took a serious serious hit the second they baited him away from the Dolphins. Just my 2Cents worth
I'm sorry your girlfriend broke your heart. God forbid a person wants to work at a job that they enjoy and are willing to put their best effort into while getting back recognition they want in return (guess Turner Gil will be a traveling salesmen when he leaves Buffalo). Sometimes certain matches aren't good ones, that's what Saban and the Fins were. Not every college coach can make it in the pros, doesn't mean they aren't good coaches, just means they aren't equipped to handle the varying personalities of NFL players who have lives beyond football and school. I mean you'd have rather he said he was leaving at the end of the year (when he wasn't sure he was), and just coast through the rest of the year, and lose his players entirely? Or you wanted him to say what he said, and then just go through the rest of his contract even though his heart wasn't in it knowing he'd not resign an extension regardless of how well he did? Oh yea, both of those things would've been great for the organization. Of course, Bama baited Saban away. And how exactly does hiring a quality coach hurt a teams credibility again? Oh yes, promising players that their team will actually be relevant in the NC hunt and highly competitive in a strong SEC, not to mention a better chance at the NFL is sure way to lose credibility. Get over it already. He would've honored his contract, but Wayne knew it was best to let him go. You say Saban is a traveling salesmen, what exactly is Bill Parcells? The guy never works through a whole contract, and defects to teams in the same freaking division that he was just in (Pats to Jets). Guess our credibility took a hit too when we signed him into the FO.
My girlfriend? Are you serious with this **** I have no idea where your new attitude is stemming from, but I find it very very disheartening big guy
mods can we rename this thread to the don talks to himself thread...................... actually i think thats what the angels thread is called...........
How in the hell can my Vols not make a FG, or at least not get it blocked? I'm not sure how good that defense is going to be without Berry next year. But if they get any offense whatsoever they could be tough.
Some Hurricanes fan was talking junk to me at the bar because I had a Connecticut jersey on and was obviously emotional. Hope he enjoyed the game.
