the pass was underthrown, but he adjusted, and it still appeared to go right through his hands.

 

It doesn't even look like he's trying out there. There was no jump to cut off the defender. He hardly put his hands up.

From what I have seen, the CB tipped the ball before Ginn had a chance to catch it. Threw his arm in front of Ginn and smacked the ball away.
