Andrew, I never said that he should't be criticized for his mistakes, but it's getting ridiculous when Ginn is the main focus for wrath after a game like this. Some folks just get their jollies on this type of thing, we saw it with Ronnie, we saw it with Beck, we saw it with Culpepper on the other site, they find one player to go after and downplay the other mistakes made by the rest of the team.

i can understand people who want to point the blame elsewhere besides Ginn. no doubt, there's plenty of blame to go around.

but you can NOT defend Ginn today. not at all.

Anyone have a live locker room feed? I want to see this chewing, almost everyone but R&R deserve it. To include the coaching staff, so I guess it will be Billy P. doing the chewing

Now i know how the browns felt when they blew that 21 to 3 lead way back in the mid 80s in the playoffs. Jesus whats with the crowd giving the saints hi fives in our stadium dont care if its saints fans should not happen.

  8. I'm sorry - I'm one of those fans that is always "protective" of my team, but this whole Ginn fiasco is just exactly THAT... He had one TD catch last game, and that's all he's done. He's a coward on the field, always running out of bounds or simply falling down on his own to avoid any physical contact whatsoever. I don't understand all of the Ginn supporters here, I have to admit.

Let's call this pick what it is -- a MISTAKE -- and move on. Something has to be done - he is a waste of a roster space in my opinion. Sorry, Ginn Lovers, but he's had his opportunities and has not proven a thing.

OK, I'm stepping off my soapbox now, LOL

You can't defend Ginn, the second half coaching, or both the offensive or defensive lines. The lines were both winning in the first half and then got owned in the second half. A big reason for the loss.

who cares where you were drafted. only thing that matters is you produce. fasano and ginn are unreliable. means we have to address both positions next year

Yes they did, and Wilson missed every tackle he could in the second half.

Ginn? Wilson? Crowder? Fasano? If they were all cut tomorrow I wouldn't miss them.

I said agree to disagree bro. Obviously, you don't want to because you like to talk alot of sh!t.

I'll defend him like this. He gets open. That's obvious. He has trouble holding on to the ball. he needs to do a better job concentrating more. He thinks way to much.

I agree that Ginn is a problem, but how many touches did Ronnie have in the second half. What happened to feed the studs?

Ginn and Wilson single handily lost the game for us. Ginn alone GAVE them 7 points, and dropped MULTIPLE key passes, that could have added to our score. Wilson... well whats new here? he got pushed around like a ragdoll by shockey that 1 play. Missed a 3rd down tackle that would have stopped them to a FG instead of a Touchdown... I mean I can go on and on if you want to.

Ginn was a large part of the problem, but he's not the main reason we lost.

they didn't need to make any adjustments at half time because we were kicking thier butts. we failed to do what worked for us. we abandoned the run and our defense was gassed out! and we can't catch. ginn needs to get stabbed in the face!

Dude, those guys were bumbling all over the place in the first half. They got their **** together at haltime and came back to win. Whether you care or not, that's how undefeated teams stay undefeated. I'm pissed that we lost but with a quarterback with one win under his belt, I was more surprised we were ahead at first than losing at the end. And I think that **** up by Sparano calling the timeout to allow them to come back on the field and score a td was the beginning of the end.

Well...when he tips the ball into the air for a pick 6, then drops a ball in his hands when we need to drive for a TD, the excuses run out for him.

At what point does he need bubble wrap to protect his pansy *** L2G?

How long should constant failure be accepted from him?

Good news for what it's worth .... three Chad Henne starts, three times our offense is over the 30-point mark. Like I said, for what it's worth. I mean, we don't play the Saints offense next week!

well he should lead the Dolphins in tackles because I think he tackled Shockey 10 times on that one play... problem is he didn't get him on the ground... :pity:

Be careful not to over react on this one....

First..Sparano did make a mistake in that he called timeout to fast...I think he assumed they were gonna go for it....and had already called time out as the field goal kicker was coming out...

Ginn hurt us on quite a few plays....he still doesnt fight for the ball...the one deep one over the middle...he short armed instead of going up and fighting for it...

I think Henne's stats are worse than he really played..the first pick six...Ginn should have caught IMO....the second one...wasnt a bad throw..but someone had the route messed up.

He looked very cool and calm driving us in the last two minutes...but the ridiculous drop by Ginn, followed by that dumb *** call by the refs...I didnt think Camarillo purposefully pitched it out of bounds....

This was an NFC team..and we played them to the end...the Saints should be proud..they didnt quit.

Im still confident in our team....

Until that last garbage drive, we ran the ball all of three times in the second half.

    THREE.

Think about that. The Miami Dolphins, and the #1 rushing offense in the NFL, ran the ball 3 times in the second half.

Ginn can (and should) take his lumps, but there's plenty of blame to go around.

agreed. ginn is one of a host of chumps who blew another game we shouldve won easy. fasano, sparano, etc. we really need to get mentally tougher next year. too many flat out losers still on this squad.

I think it pretty safe to

    1. Get a WR

    2. Another TE

    3. our Safeties are not that good

Nice game ronnie ,Ricky and Henn

I usually refrain from posting right after a game....BUT

    1. I've always supported Ginn, however his drops today and when they occurred cannot be defended.

    2. Our D-Coordinator completely called off the blitzing and movement in the 2nd half, and Brees picked us apart.

    3. We didn't do our bread and butter running and play action in the 2nd half...until it was 4th and 13? 2 WR's on the field on 4th and 13, really???

    4. Fasano was also bad today, and not only with his 1 obvious drop. His blocking was pretty terrible.

    5. Ginn is just as pedestrian in KR's as Cobbs was (at least today). If he's not going to make an impact on returns, and he's not going to be reliable in the passing game, is he really that valuable?

On Football Night in America, not one mention of the refs today. How can any unbiased account of this game not include mention of the extremely controversial calls?????

That said, I'm beating a dead horse. We screwed ourselves as much as the refs did today.

Plenty of blame to go around indeed. Mostly to Ginn, followed by Wilson. The you have Sparano, Crowder, Henning bunched up.

i think it's pretty obvious why people would be more upset with a top 10 pick who sucks over a player acquired via 4th round trade who sucks. c'mon, think rationally here.

Ginn has a place on this team if he can make some more plays like he dis against the Jets. But today he showed - IMO - that he cannot be the man on this team. He had his chances, and he failed.

I wouldn't be shocked if Hartline is starting over him next week. Not expecting it, but I wouldn't be surprised!

Ginn needs to put on his big boy pants and start making more plays ASAP. Heck, I'd settle for catching a ball when he's wide open. Same for Fasano, can everyone say - in unison - "overrated!"
