    1. What the hell was Tony thinking by calling that TO before the half? You have a Saints team on the ropes down 24-3. They are on the 1 yard line with 5 seconds in the half and are about to kick a FG to still be down by 18 points. That is 3 TD's down and we get ball coming out of the half. Kicker is on the field and we call a TO to let them regroup and let Brees back on the field to convert the TD. So now instead of it being 24-6, it is now 24-10. Does 4 points really make that much of a difference when you are up and getting the ball? YES! They not only had the momentum, but they were now only 2 TD's down. That makes it a totally different ballgame.

So what do we do to counter that coming out of the half? We leave our bread and butter...what go us to the dance...the power running game. Best rushing team in the league and we start trying to throw the ball everywhere against a blitzing and tough pass D. F'n brilliant...NOT! That TO call changed the whole game.

    2. Ginn. Ok, so we all gave him a 1 game stand after the Jets game. What does he do? He goes right back to the same old Ted Ginn Jr. A complete waste of space and talent. The pick 6 would have never happened if he wasn't so scared of a little contact and didn't bobble ball into the air. Then when we need him the most....he does what he has done time and time again. ...he dropped a ball that would have given us 1st down on a possible game winning drive. No more excuses...no more it is the QB's fault Miami can't stretch the field. We can stretch the field and he can't catch it. Said it before and I will say it again...#9 picks in the draft make those catches. He is nothing more than a return man who sucks at that as well.

    3. The Camarillo illegal forward pass. Excuse me....that ball didn't go forward. If anything it went out of bounds laterally. He didn't attempt to throw it forwards...so how can that be an illegal forward pass? Either way it was stupid on his end...but it wasn't forward.

    4. Only bright spot was how the DB's stepped up in this game. They played as good as they could possibly play.

    5. On the 30 yard run by Mike Bell...Crowder was held and turned around through the hold. How is that not called? That was the only reason the hole was there for Bell to run through...yet it isn't called. That was a HUGE no call.

    6. The inability to run a 2 min drill...again. We are down 12...almost 2 min left. So what do we do after the first pass play? We take 30 seconds off the clock. What do we do on 2nd down? We take almost another 20 seconds off the clock. That was almost 1 min off the clock, yet we call a TO on 3rd down? Really? REALLY? What about the sideline plays or throwing down field? NO....we didn't do that either. If we could have scored in a min - a min and a half....we could have had a chance at an onsides kick and a chance to win the game with a TD. But noooooooooooooooooooooooooo....we pretty much did nothing, but hey....we stopped the clock with 1 second left in the game down 12. :pity:  :pity: Horrible....just horrible clock management. For everything that Tony and Staff have done right...they still get an F in this area.

That clock management at the end was downright awful. They just gave up.

when the schmuck of a ref called the td it immediately stopped the clock.we did not have proper personnel on the field for a goalline stance but it ended up not mattering anyway but had the ref called it correctly down at the one then the time keeps ticking and runs out.i may be wrong but im pretty sure thats why we took the timeout there.

i agree with the camarillo call..illegal forward pass??looked more like a fumble to me.

also the 15 yard penalty on porter..are you serious ref?you don't see porter being held, you don't see porter get pushed but you do see porter push back?granted porter needs to have more control.

the non-pi call on hartline pissed me off as well among other things.

It was clearly a pitch by Cam, but it clearly wasnt forward either. Im not sure what kind of other call (if any) could have been made? Im sure they at least would have slapped some kind of delay of game penalty.

If that's as good as our DB's can possibly play we are screwed. I don't see how we can get beat when we put up over 30 points and people are applauding the defense. We created turnovers, which was great, and definitely give them credit for that, but that's not all there is. We consistently allowed them to pass right down the seam for 25 yard gains.

Agreed on all points, the timeout before halftime really was not needed and was the turning point in the game. There was no need to call a timeout there. In regards to Ginn I have always tried to give him credit and have patience he will develop but this season he just seems to make too many costly mistakes. In no way is he entirely to blame for the loss but he contributed. Also I too did not like the explanation for the Camarillo penalty, that was no forward pass,it was a throw sideways. The whole team just had a meltdown and lost the game,I could not believe what I was seeing. Good post though, this is the first time I have been on this board following a loss and it is cool to vent and share what you feel went wrong during the game.

Agree that the staff wears the horns. I also say we were badly out-coached at halftime. What you saw in the first half was TWO weeks of coaching preparation (Miami with bye) versus ONE week of prep (Saints).

What you saw in the second half was that a superior Saints staff made superior halftime adjustments in the same amount of time that we had to make adjustments.

    Plain and simple.

I'm sorry fellow Fins fans but I'm going to come out with it: Do not expect to make the playoffs this year. its like all summer they never practiced the 2 minute drill, never worked our secondary, our safeties(yes, including Yeremiah Bell) are suspect, and with our receiving core, we are not going to make any noise. I know I've said in so many other posts the same thing, but i cannot comprehend why we completely ditched who we are offensively in the 2nd. I just dont get it.

With our schedule, I didn't expect us to be any better than 9-7. However, some of the regressing I have seen has just been awful. Maybe that is from playing tougher teams....maybe that is from a "sophomore slump"...but there are just things that are disappointing.
