http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2009/10/top_ten_ways_ted_ginn_can_repa.php A little levity, I do think Ginn has sort of become a metaphor for the Saints and Colts loss, to me that is a bit too much, the Colts game...maybe...the Saints Game..."someone" gave up 39 points outside of his bobble...
Sad thing is, I really believe if we had a legit #1 WR Ginn would be a nice compliment. I think the people hating on him the most expected him to be that guy based on where he was drafted, whereas most of us knew when he got here he wasn't that guy. I wouldn't have a problem at all with them reducing his receiving role and putting him on PR/KR full-time. Hell, even Jason Allen has found a niche at Special Teams.
how about making it up to his team mates......he cant help where hes drafted, but he can help going after balls, fighting for the ball, catching the ball, showing some intensity.....trying to back up his team. he owes it to them. not us fans. but his team.
I think that is what we will see, Ginn as a #3 wr, Hartline and Camarillo will be more or less the starters with Ginn running the Safety off and catching a couple of balls a game and returning kicks. That is, unless a radioactive spider bites him...
Just catch the damn ball. It's as simple as that. I am even looking past the Colts game because he was up in the air fighting for the ball with a defender. I cannot look past a drop where both feet are planted, ball was on the numbers, and no one around him.
Because he really gave up and walked straight to the sidelines after Sharper's "pick six"... Oh wait, he forced a fumble where the ref should have called it a touchback, Miami ball...
I think it is funny that people who like Ginn and think he will be a good Wr are really defensive right now, and the people who think Ginn is a bust believe they now have proof... I think the list is funny, but it should be changed from "Edward Rubberhands" to "Feet for hands", but even still, we can and should chuckle it up right now, but what I love about the NFL is Ginn will have more chances this season.
like chris rock says "you wanna cookie?!" he did what he was supposed to do......he wiffed on a pass that changed the game.....and ran down the field to make a strip on the guy that got INT due to his lack of making a play......he did what he should have done.
still kind of counters the whole he's soft argument, won't fight, etc. good list paddy. funny ****. I bet section pumped his fist when he saw this : 8. Swim to Cuba, depose the Castro Bros., and hold democratic elections.
Next up="DBess's fumbles, is he nearsighted?" "How Anthony Fasano can improve, tell him every drop costs him 100k on his contract"... "Qb Controversy? Ronnie Brown is the next Steve Young!!!!" I think "us" fans are taking this too seriously, I do think Ginn probably should play less until he performs better, make kick returns his measuring stick, do well on kick and punt returns and see more playing time at Wr.
His dreads are costing him .3 seconds off of his 40 time...just sayin'... Ricky cut his and he looks as fast as he ever was...
be the player we drafted him to be? unfortunately, after three years the discussion is all but mute he is a bust
Or start a professional 2 hand touch football league and sign that sucker to a 10 year contract! He'd be MVP every year!
I've been bashing Ginn big time on here. I do think he is a bad WR, but I do agree that putting him on PR and KR and use him as a 3rd WR could actually help us. He's never been a #1, never will be a #1 and he'll never be a #2 either. I like the kick returner/#3 WR. At this time.
No one expected him to be TO. But no one expects Camarillo to be Wes Welker, either, but Cam, even on his repaired knee, is doing more than Ginn. Yes, two different WRs but one seems to be trying while the other doesnt seem like he has the confidence to play well.
get 100 yds and 2 TDs evry time you play an AFC East opponent. We'll bench you for the other ten games but we'll always have a place for you in Miami if you can pull that off
Nah bro when you draft a WR at no. 9 in the first round he better be close to TO because if not then he is a disapointment because we could've gotten this kind of production or better from someone later on in the draft. This kid was taken at that spot because Cam was hooking up his friend so he took his son.
Dont hold back man, dont hold back. I've been on here since day 1 saying this kid was like Randal Hill #2 for us. I honestly thought we'd see him get shipped off at the trade deadline but it is what it is.
After the Indy game is was actually told by a couple of members on here that my opinion was "baiting" them. I told them that if they don't like what I say, then don't read or respond to MY opinion. I actually refered Ginn to Randal Hill before also. Fast as hell, but sucks just as bad.
I never expected him to be TO. I didnt like the pick at all personally. I was wondering why we picked a glorified KR instead of Quinn, Willis, Okoye, ect., guys more experience and ready to go in their positions rather than a project/special role type player. He wasnt even the best WR on OSU, that was Anthony Gonzalez and Brian Robiskie. He wasnt ready to go as a WR and still hasnt developed. We were all praying that Cam knew something no one else did about Quinn and Ginn, but it turns out neither were worth it. Oh well Im tired of talking about it. It is what it is. Hopefully he finds a new role on this team(doubtful) or has success elsewhere(very likely).
