How funny..."Sanchize, the other players no likey when u mope on the sidelines like that, so be a tough little soldier and look happier or something"

That sort of thing is not "taught" it is a part of the "poise' that players have or they do not, maybe if they took him for ice cream or something he may feel a bit better about himself?

i hope henne has that poise paddy. He's shown hes good under pressure, what will make him good and maybe even great is how well he learns from his mistakes and reacts when things aren't going well.

Henne's pick six pretty much cost us the Chargers game, then he fumbled three times against the Bills then bounced back with the MNF Jets game.

Henne's poise seemed fine by any objective measure, I guess all the flak he took at Michigan toughened him up a bit.

Sanchize on the other hand, knew nothing but Victory and Natl Title contention, no one made a "Sanchez sucks" song when he was at USC.

very true. but keep in mind right now henne can still chalk it up to "I'm still learning". When that excuse is gone and he just has to say "well i screwed up", we will see how good he is IMO.

Leon Washington had a broken fibula in today's game against Oakland. The bone broke through the skin, and he is remaining behind in Oakland. He entered surgery at around 8:30 PM EST.

That sucks about Leon Washington. EASILY the most tolerable player on any team in the division. Dude is a freaking playmaker. I hope he has a successful surgery and a good rehab, I want our Phins to get a chance to kick his *** as soon as possible.

Where did he get a hot dog? haha. Anyway, I'm hoping it's freezing here in NY this weekend. Right now it's supposed to be 50 and rainy on Sun, but its early and it always changes. Who would've thought Dolphins fans would be hoping for cold weather? We did fine in cold weather last season though. And those SoCal'ers dont get exposed to much cold weather, or rain, or snow.

I guess I don't know football, when did eating on the sidelines become disrespectful?

If the game was tied 13-13 and he was eating a hot dog because he was sick to his stomach, that would have been fine?

Anyway... if he wants to eat a hotdog when we are up 38-0 on this coming Sunday, I will personally walk one down to him. :)

So? if he's hungry he's hungry.

I bet Jenkins has eaten whole pigs on the sideline and everyone was simply too terrified to say anything.

Too bad about Leon Washington. That injury sounds completely gruesome. I just hope he can heal up. Even as a Jet I like him as a player and you hate to see things happen like this. Here's to a speedy recovery.

In 2 games we've lost Will Allen and Patrick Cobbs, while the Jets have lost Kris Jenkins and Washington. We're both fighting the war of attrition going into Sunday's game.

One other point regarding Washington, specifically the Crowder hit. I've seen that replay several times and it's a completely legal hit. Nothing dirty about it. Just a hard hit on a rival player. Crowder got hit in a similar matter yesterday and no one said anything. This is just a contention because it was a Jet that blew him up.

    Damnit.
Two players on that team I really respect and would welcome with arms open in Miami, and they are both gone for the season.

1310 Theticket.com here in Dallas is reporting it might very well be a career ender for Washington. I certainly hope not. :pity:

Yeah, metal rod in his thigh type of surgery, I won't say he is done, but I cannot recall a "skill" position player coming back from that one AZ.

They have Shonn Greene, but he is not the player LW was, now they have to switch everything around even on kick returns.

the jets, in the draft, i think thought their future would be Leon and Shonn. and TJ would eventually be worked out of the equation. this is just terrible news. a guy who depends on such speed and quickness...

I honestly hope so for his sake, but do you have a link backing this up?

Remember, my source was a Dallas radio station, whom of course would be very neutral about this.
Of course, being in Dallas they could also be way off Base with this.

I agree because I don't see eating on the sideline as disrespectful. I am sure also that others have done it and was not made a big deal over. I read he was eating because he was ill that week and had not eaten much so that is a good reason he was probably just really hungry besides he probably needed to eat because he needs the energy to be able to play. I don't see why he felt he needed to apologize. Anyway it was a pretty funny story to read.

By the way I'm sorry to hear about Washington's injury he is a playmaker and it is unfortunate to hear that. Just reading about his injury sounded pretty bad. I hope both teams have an injury free game this week both sides can't afford to lose anymore players.

Bro, that made me spit my coffee. Frikkin PRICELESS! That's going in my sig. :sidelol:

I love how that fat idiot leads the Jet cheers every week, and for YEARS was wearing a #42 jersey because he was a Dolphins fan in high school and Paul Warfield was his favorite player!

Nice organization...even their so-called "biggest fan" is a fraud.

yeah, i could see you making this statement if you actually WON when we played. But the Jests didn't. Hell, they couldn't beat us WITH the refs giving out free gifts at every possible opportunity.(unlike the saints) But telling a Jet fan to curb their expectations is useless.

And I could see you making this statement if almost every single player on your team wasn't a smack talking classless cry-baby(the 2 that weren't are unfortunately on IR). The snowball effect that your hypocrite windbag coach has started is an embarrassment. I can find 15 quotes of smack from 15 different players in less than 3 minutes...just from this week! And Ronnie Brown says "we'll see who the tougher 11 is"(which we technically were) and he actually tries to make bulletin board material out of it? The Jets are a big fat walking advertisement of endless hot air and material.

What hypocrisy. If Fitzpatrick was eating a hotdog on the sidelines when the Bills beat the Jets, Ryan would've shot his tampon out so hard, he'd have showered 85% of East Rutherford.
