So if it were a positive story, would you been hesitant to believe it too? Or is it a one-way street? Then why should we believe Ginn made the catch? I don't buy what some forum members are speculating that maybe the reason he 'trotted back' was maybe because he twisted an ankle or something. If that were the case, he would have received medical attention.
No I don't think the one catch cleared his mind. However, when you report something, context is everything. It's the reason why reporters usually don't run a picture of the Dolphins celebrating accompanied by a headline that says "Dolphins lose Heartbreaker". It's not very good context. He may be sulking, but the writer didn't do a very good job of supporting his claim by saying it was AFTER Ginn made a catch. He's making an assumption based on what he perceives as bad body language. Again, one man's opinion and convienient given Ginn's recent struggles.
While I imagine it's always easier to hear good things about your favorite team, I tend to be fairly even keeled. And I tend to be very skeptical of the local media's football knowledge and general ability. So I probably wouldn't have bought into anything that was based on their solely observational opinions. I usually just read their stuff to get the facts as free of their opinions as possible.
You must have a higher tolerance than I do, 'cause I think we reached the point of ridiculousness 70 miles a go.
He didn't cause it, he was a pass that should have been caught that went off his hands, the defense bobbled it more then Ginn did. And who was right there to grab the defenders bobbled Int try? Sharper, a DB who can actually catch an Int. Tipped passes get picked off weekly, it happens, to blame a WR for it is wrong. I mean at least he got back to force a shoulda been called fumble. Chalk it up to the defense making a great play.
James Brown was famous for his slowly walk back to the huddle after every run. What a bum, thow him out of the HoF.
Yeah but Brown did that so that the opposition would never know if they hurt him or not....not exactly the same situation
The difference is we know why Brown walked back slowly. As it stands I don't know if Ted has changed what he does, if he's changed why he's changed, or what the coaches think.
Agreed.....and why I really haven't anything to say on the matter. Not fair to judge him based on what that blogging hack reported.
of course he is sulking, he sucks and he knows it.. he knows the whole city is pissed at him and he needs to step it up, but he just got slapped in the face with practicing with the second team.. good for his ***, he needs to know that were pissed, because this fast guy needs to be a serious threat for our team
