Living in NY and reading all the papers today...it is just unfathomable the comments coming from some of the Jets and the slants they have on the Dolphins. It would be downright funny if it were not so sad..sad it is. The Dolphins acted like they won the Super Bowl???..You mean the same Super Bowl that your coach has mentioned since his first press conference???..the same Super Bowl that the media and Jet fans and players had the Jets in since week one?..That one? The Dolphins have no respect for your Defense???..The same Defense that was labled "great"?? The one that played its worst game ever and had his Coach embarassed???..Of course the only way the Dolphins could have won that game...what else could it be? All Ryan has talked about is how tough his guys are and intimidating....yet another player states the simple Fundamental 101 about Football..strap it on and see which 11 are tougher...that is an insult? Did the Jets watch the film of that last game????..Hate to break it down to you Ryan...that game..The Dolphins were more physical and played harder and wanted it more. Jets complained about how they want revenge...Dolphins did not show any respect? Break out what Ryan.. Pace..Rhodes.and others said after the game. The epitome of classless and a bully taking it on the chin and looking for excuses I would hope you would have some Jets sitting in the back of that meeting room shaking their heads at some of the nonsense. Can't we just play Football? Give respect to whom and where it is due?..To be earned??..No its easier to act like a bunch of classless buffoons and pretend it is Pro Wrestling. I do not like the Jets but there has always been a line of respect about guys who play hard and talk the talk and walk the walk. This Jet team is very very different...and I truly believe that people around the league are growing tired of Ryans act already even just a few games in. I know living in NY...Can you just SHUT UP already and just play the game?
Bro, you live in NY...you should know by now that there is no "respect" in Jets football. No "honor". In all the years I've been reading the local papers no team has ever beaten the Jets. They ALWAYS "beat themselves" or "played a bad game" or "gave the game away". I've never seen them OR any of the sportswriters EVER say "the better team won today" or "we just got beat". It's always some lame excuse, or that they didn't play "as well as we're capable of". This team has done nothing - except for the Parcells years - excpet suck since 1969, but if you listen to their fans and the sportswriters they're the greatest team ever to step on the gridion. This is perfectly exemplified by Mark Canoflardass of the NY Post picking the Jets to win EVERY week. According to this double-chinned genetic disaster, the Jets should have been undefeated for like 10 years straight. In fact, this week tue to form., he not only picks the Jets to win....they're his "best bet". Really fatass? What makes them a "best bet"? Miami is still running at will on teams, and your team has lost two key players. Your QB has impoded against good teams, only looking decent, and may I reiterate - DECENT - against the Oakland Elementary Junior Varsity. But of course, to the Peter Griffin of the Post, they're a "best bet". It used to be annoying...trust me, you just have to deal with it now the way I do. Laugh your *** off.
and then those troglodytes move down here, only to ***** and moan how much better NY is. They also expect the local sports stations to cater to them, like they're so ****ing entitled. You hear "why do you guys keep talking about the Dolphins?" at least twice a day.
All I've seen is "waaaaaaaa the Jets fans like their team," or "waaaaaaa the Jets coaches are confident," or "waaaaaaa the refs are definitely going to favor the Jets this week because they hate us and love Mark Sanchez," "waaaaaaaaaaaa" "waaaaaa"
