The play callers in the NFL probably have the worst job when their teams are losing. Damned if you run, damned if you throw.

 

We have all of NINE yards rushing ... that's not going to get it done today. We're going to need the defense to create something for us.

 

Wildcat:

We have to run trap or base block it in the A gap. Base block will get taken down by linebacker in the gap. Trap is the play the offense is reduced. You ever see trap in the NFL? There is a reason for that.

 

Dan Carpenter is automatic.
