Its that he kills the Jets when he plays them. Thank you Ginn for contributing today. Keep it up!

I like Ted Ginn, always have, and I don't give a rat's azz what other people might think about it. He's not a #1, probably never will be, but anyone who thinks he 'sucks' has rocks between their ears.

    Their football analysis sucks.

If there is one thing we know about Ted Ginn it is that he is wildly inconsistent.

And "yes" I was peeved after last week, but also I knew what kind of KR Teddy Ginn could be, he made his own breaks today and it was wonderful to see.

AFAIK, he did not have a single pass thrown his way, he got his chance on the kicking game, was stuck twice by the kicker, then scored 2 TD's.

    Vintage Ted Ginn Jr.

without Teddy we lose both Jets games. he actually looked like he was about to develop some swagger after that 2nd td return. maybe this confidence will put him over the top receiving too.

There was definitely at least 1 thrown his way, I remember seeing the instant replay after the incompletion where the announcer was fawning over how awesome darrell revis is....talking about how he snuffed out the route blah blah.

It was one of Henne's first overthrows.

Henne had an awful game today, but our receivers and line certainly were not helping him.

According to NFL Gamebook, Ginn had one pass thrown to him, with no catches. Hartline was the same in that regard.

If there is one thing we know about Ginn, he is the fastest player in the league, if the race is 100 yds. Heck, he is probably the fastest over 40 yds as well.

Even as bad as he looked at times, he still had an 87 QB Rating for the game and that is a solid number as far as QB Ratings go.

I have never said Ginn sucked but just wanted to see him catch the damn ball. I have said it before and I will say it again. GINN......prove all the haters wrong.

I would love to see him excel but I just can't handle watching him drop easy passes.

We've always known that Ted Ginn was a great kick returner. Cam Cameron said himself that we just drafted a great returner. Now, the question is, can he translate this to his receiving game. Today was Ted Ginn's 40th game in the NFL, he's had about 8 good ones. I want to see more consistency from him before I let him out of the dog house completely.

The only thing that concerns me about Henne is it just seems like he doesn't have much pocket presence or that instinct to avoid the rush. Heck even Tom Brady looks ordinary under duress so not a big concern. I think we finally have a long term answer at QB.

EDIT: wrong thread I guess, Good Job today Ginn!

    Two thoughts.

First, if Ginn lost the Colts and Saints games, then Ginn won both Jets games. Have to be consistent with our logic.

Second, did you notice that on both returns where Ginn took it to the house, he made "happy feet" moves before initial contact instead of long-striding in a straight line right into coverage? He went back to the latter in the two last returns.

Watch the video. You can be sure that there's going to be some serious coaching going on, if there hasn't been already on this issue.

He literally cost us The Colts and Saints games.. so from a Karmic standpoint, he stills owes us at least 1 to get back to even.

    Congratulations Ted Ginn

I know there's a few threads for Ted Ginn up and about, but if you guys were not aware, Ted Ginn amassed 299 Return Yards today... That is the second highest ever in an NFL game.

    From ESPN: http://espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=291101020

I'm glad that the FO saw this as the right course of action, to limit a lot of his time and focus him on kick returns. Here's to hoping for many more games like this. And maybe a few where he actually makes a catch or two too :)

So he's now in the record books with the most kickoff TD returns in a game and the second most kick return yards in a game. We certainly drafted a great "returner." He just happens to be listed as a Wide Receiver

like we have 2 or 3 receivers on this team currently better than him. he is our best receiver this year and next week we better be past the "message" BS and play our best players. Right now Dorrelll better be getting his resume ready because all of our receivers are dropping passes and failing to get open

    Delighted for him.

He received huge criticism over the past week and rightfully so. But he definetly reacted the right way and hopefully he can now build on that performance.

One pass does equal non factor Mr. C.

Ginn had his chance, and made the most of it.

Ginn reminded us today of what we've been trying to do......

And that's turn a dangerous kick returner into a number one WR, just because some idiot spent a top ten pick on him.

He's a return guy first, complimentary receiver second......

More or less, to me he is a #3 Wr, but he still can bust that 2,000 yd barrier.

#1 Kr, #1 Pr, and a #3 specialty Wr, 2,000 yds is alot of production from a player like that no?

I am like Adrian Monk when it comes to numbers like this, because that 299 is going to piss me off, wished he got one more yard! but he is the first player EVER to get 2 100 yard kick off returns for TD... So he will always have an NFL record forever!

Whats so classic about winning on his double returns, is it ensures that this victory won't go quietly into the night, buried behind other games in the headlines, as some station analysts would presumably hope to do, but should embed it into lead-in of most weekend highlight reels.

What no he has not.. It Takes you one Game to love Ted Ginn again but it takes 3 years to hate him and say that he sucks..Im Sorry i was Happy for Ted Happy about the Win but until he has a great Game against a team other than The Jets then im will agree with you.. One Game dosent make up for three years of failure or two games for that matter keep trying.

he did it all on SPECIAL TEAMS, he did nothing for the offense. he's always been a great returner. and his two TDS were huge for us. but until he produces on the offense, I say ship him
