I didn't get to see the game thanks to school obligations / partying it up in the city, and it seems like it's for the better. I can't believe this team. This **** sucks. But, you guys won, and by the sounds of it, there weren't any decisive BS penalties or anything, just lackluster special teams play and poor play calling from Schottenheimer (imagine that?). Good luck the rest of the way... but I still hope you lose out and miss the playoffs

My expectations going into this season were 8-8 or maybe 9-7, but probably worse. I bought into the hype after the 3-0 start pretty hard, but I guess after 8 games, we are on par with what I should have expected. At this point, I just don't want any more potentially career-threatening injuries like Leon's. Oi. I guess that's something to root for. And exciting games like today's apparently was, preferably with wins. I'll need to catch a repeat of today's game somewhere.

Your defense played great today, a ton of pressure on Henne, special teams and timely plays won it for us. Both coaches made blunders with going for 2 points (us once, you guys two or three times)
I don't know what you Fin Fans do, but no thanks I'm actually disappointed about the responses FFIC got on TGG. He's been a good guy over there. But I wouldn't let those morons represent the Jets fanbase or even TGG. TGG has a solid core of posters that get drowned out with the idiots after every win or loss when everyone and their brother has an opinion on something. I guess it's part of a highly-trafficked messageboard. It just sucks. Don't judge us on those idiots.
GG NYJ, ya'll should be proud of the team. That defense is stout! and the running and passing game are strong! This is going to be one of the most exciting rivalries (hoping both teams keep getting better) in the league over the next few years!

Being half a fan? Sorry, school grades are more important than watching a football game live. I had to go to a play for my theatre class. The only showing that I could catch was today at 3:00 PM. The rest conflicted with class schedules. It was that or not be able to do my paper and answer questions on the final. For the start of the game, I was actually inside Madison Square Garden, watching the Rangers play on their big TV since I couldn't find any really cheap tickets to watch the first period and a half before I had to go to the play.
I live next door to one (a classy Jets fan), who just got back from the game. He's bummed, but he's always classy when the Phish win. And he was today. He said he had a blast, short of the game. It's good to have neighborhood bragging rights for the next year!! Of course, if he was REALLY classy, he would have got me a ticket to the game (in reality, he was lucky to get the one from his brother for himself)

School is more important. I'm skipping my night class during our Dolphins' game against the Panthers on Thursday night football in a few weeks though. I went when I was sick though, knowing I would not be going on that night. See-I'm good sometimes.
One of my friends is a true Pats fan. He'a always been classy with me. He's not only a Pats fan, but he's also a fan of all the Boston teams. We will talk some smack, but it never gets personal. He's a good guy.

Truth be told, if it wasn't for our two teams hating each other as much as they do and for as long as they have, we would have to come to terms with the idea that we have a long way to go. I can get no emotion up for the Jills and some for the Patricheats, but hating the Jets is what makes life worth living even if we don't go to the Super Bowl!
