Sorry, but I'm sick of hearing how the Jets' D dominated the Dolphins offense. Their offense scores a )flukey as hell TD to make it 24-19.

They needed a defensive stop to pull ahead, and that big, bad Jets Defense does what? Gets run over by Ricky and Ronnie, in the Wildcat formation by the way, and the clown QB tosses a TD to a backup tight end.

Why doesn't anyone in the media ask Bart and Rex about that??????

To be fair to the Jets, as much as I don't like them, their defense did play pretty well on Sunday. Let's be honest, aside from one drive we never really got our offence going against them.

I'm glad we swept them of course, but let's not start disrespecting their team too much. Personally, I think they're quite similar to us in many respects, and I can see both teams rivalry being revived somewhat over the next few years as, what are fairly young teams, mature and continue to progress.

I'm just calling it like we all saw it. There were 2 big, clutch drives in that game. That was one. 24-19, momentum could have swung their way big time. Our O shows up in a big way. And, given that, who knows how our offensive possessions would have gone if not for the three big returns? The other was the Jets final drive. Our defense made the big stop...their O ran out of flukey plays.

And let's keep the statistics in perspective: when the Jets D held the Dolphins O to a negative play, they were huge losses of yardage, 15 yards at a time. Three or four of those are going to draw down an offense's stats in a big way.

Brian Hartline ran past their D, wide open for a big play, if not a TD early in the game. Lack of execution prevented it, not the Jets D.

These are all facts, not the unwarranted disrespect like they're spouting.

I would like to see our QBs (including Ronnie) throw the ball out of bounds when they get pressured like they did yesterday. They gave up a lot of field position hanging on to the ball on those jail breaks..

I think a better point is that they concentrated SOOO much on their D that we beat them with our Defense and ST's. Go ahead, stop the WC but forget about every other aspect of the game....

it's because they did. we were having a hard time getting momentum with all the sacks and negative plays. the wildcat wasn't going to bail us out this game, we needed either big plays with passing (which we didn't really get) or someone on special teams to change the momentum, and Ginn stepped up in a big way.

Well Rex Ryan would rather be in the Phins locker room because they won... wait, no... I mean he did say that... but he then said he'd rather be in the Jets locker room because they have a better record. Ah yes... Hey Rex, you can't be in both locker rooms at the same time... er maybe he can if he makes it up to 500 pounds...?

which makes no sense because they played 1 more game then miami... The dolphins lost just as many games as the Jets, but Rex fails to see it

On NFL Gameday Final on NFL Network, they incorporated the Bess near-fumble on that drive into the highlights. They all call it a fumble even though Bess' right leg is down. I see they are willing to bring up questionable calls that would have benefited the Jets; but they don't even mention the Sharper fumble/touchback last week. unreal.

The Jets D couldn't stop the Dolphins O when it really, really mattered. That is a huge reason the Dolphins won. Without that last TD, the Jets 25 (26) is enough to win.

yep. the game winning td was on an offensive drive. that most likely stings more than anything else we did all game.

also, getting back up to the line of scrimmage after bess clearly fumbled and getting the snap off before ryan could reach all the way to his back pocket, which admittedly must take him 3-4 minutes, was brilliant on our part. Ricky even ran for 5 yards and got the first down no less.

Everyone on the jets looked like a complete idiot after that.

When he said that he left no doubt that he's just as bright as he looks...

Their record: 4-4 and 1-3 in the Division

Our record: 3-4 and 3-0 in the Division

Thanks Jabba but I'll take one less win and that 3-0 division record at this point

Yeah don't worry about it,that is just one of the many excuses they are using to make themselves feel better. It seems like every time we beat them there is always a reason why we shouldn't have one. Might as well let them convince themselves they really won,all that matters is our Fins actually do our talking on the field and we got the W at the end of the day. That makes three in a row, once at the end of last season and twice this year.

I don't buy that, we moved the ball when we had to.
If Bess didn't fumble we had the game in the bag, Jets didn't run effectively turned the ball over and our D shut them down when it counted, 3 rookies starting and they couldn't beat us.
We can now put away the broom the Jets are in the dust bin.

Can you believe they tried to intimidate Porter during warm up, who do these guys think they are, you get beat like a goof and you still mouth off, let me tell you if any of the players in Miami talked like that Sporana would all over their ***.
The team is a reflection of the coach.
