I'd rather have Dez Bryant than about anyone that I expect to be out there in FA.

I wonder how the injury to Owen Daniels and D'Qwell Jackson will affect them resigning with their current teams, because I think both could really help fill some holes on this team.

Leave it to you two (adam/jetssuck) to screw up the quotes. :pity:

Lets put this in a job setting that everyone here can understand. Marino and Shula are the President and VP of the company, everyone else who opened their mouth are managers and/or the grump who cleans the bathroom who can't stop yapping (kooch).

Do you listen to the guy who is perpetually crabby or the folks who are icons within the company? They are where they are for a reason.

I'm sorry, but if you can't see that Ginn was misused for the first 2 years and a couple of games, then I don't know what to tell you. You either don't want to see or you're just trying to be difficult. I would love an explanation as to how a speed receiver is supposed to gel with a QB who can't throw the ball (and chooses not to attempt it) more than 15-20 yards. How can a WR (any WR) supposed to succeed when the QB throws the ball without zip, allowing defenders an extra step or two to the ballcarrier before he has a chance to turn around and make a play? I've talked to alen about this before and he made a great point, where are the slants? Where are the drag routes? There are alot of plays that we just don't use, rather our WR's seem to always be heading towards the sidelines on their route. I think we should be utilizing the middle of the field more, using creative ways to get our WR's open. For a team that was creative enough to use the WC and add more wrinkles to it, can we seriously not find creative ways to get our WR's the ball?

As far as mis-treated, I submit all of the negativity on this board over the past few weeks.

Daniels is looking to become the highest paid player at his position and the Texans seem to be willing to comply. I don't think he's a realistic option.

He'll be coming off ACL surgery. Texans wanted him to prove he deserved a long term contract before giving him one this offseason, you don't think it's possible that they would be hesitant to give him one now?

I mean they may very well just franchise him, but I could definitely see him testing the waters if he feels he could get more elsewhere.

It depends, logic would say that they let him prove that he's healthy, but if the player puts up a fuss I think they might give in rather than have him hold out in a long drawn out contract battle. Whether "giving in" means that they give him a long-term deal or a very healthy one or two year deal, I would lead towards the shorter term contract. Still out of our reach though IMO.

Yeah, I'm a hacker.......I'm lucky to be able to turn this thing on

Just going by what I saw from Marino's days, I can't see Ginn lasting as long as Tony Martin did.

Shula is STILL looking for a WR........lol

The treatment he gets on this forum, is tame compared to what's said about him on the streets of So Fl....trust me, it's pretty ugly.

And joking aside, I actually agree that he's mis-used as a WR. Unless we plan on throwing long so he can run under it, it's pretty much useless to throw to him. Which is my main problem with him....and why I'm in agreement with reducing his playing time.

The last thing I want is for them to repeat the same mistake they already made. Which is giving up on him as a return man so he can concentrate on WR. I can't see him ever being worth more at WR than he is as a returner..

To add on to my first post. What's even FUNNIER is that if Ginn is so bad at everything, how is he getting open to drop said passes, and if he isnt open why is it his fault? He is so much better than last year at getting open, he's just in a rough stretch.

I really wish he was more like Percy Harvin.

Daniels or Aaron Hernandez out of UF would be some nice pickups.
