He has serious accuracy issues, he isn't a very good QB by any stretch of the imagination. That's why the majority of the teams in the NFL viewed him as a WR rather than a QB.

for this team to be successful, we must control TOP and keep the D off the field ....

we can not play an up and down game .... certainly not against a good team.

if we can't sustain drives in the 2d half, we will lose by 14+

There should have never been 1 second left on the clock.
A tip, a deflection, hell even a catch = zero points and 13-10 at halftime.
Still, how do you run a play that requires a throw 20 yards downfield and run it in 4 seconds?

 

If NE would have been kicking a FG, that clock would have expired.

 

The Pats get 3 seconds for every 1 second on the clock

 

Welll, we are down 16-10 in foxoboro, we get the kick off to open the second half, hopefully C Wake's sack opens some eyes and JP and JT won't have to play as DE so much in 4 man lines.

Henne is rocketng evey throw, Bess is choking, and the running game is sort of an after thought, though P White on the pistol read option was brilliant.

I expect on the Pats opening drive for Moss to test Jason Allen deep.

I predict this game remains close until the 4th quarter and then either the Pats destroy us by 2 TDs+ or the script reads that we miraculously pull it off by a FG.

Then we lose to them at home, guaranteed (if we win today).

Unless they beat us now and then we are supposed to win at home.

 

When we go Dime coverage, Wake and JT can create their own sacks, JP had one play, otherwise he has not smelled Brady today, let alone sacked him..

 

My 1st half thoughts -

Refs are blind ... the fact we had to challenge the Henne non fumble is atrocious

Pat White - Until he completes a pass, he is going to continue to be two dimensional (run or handoff)

Ronnie B - Time to get mean brother ... your looking too casual out there

Ricky W - Arguably our best running option at this point.

Gostkowski - good grief what a leg that guy has

Brady - Quit whining and play football already ... its getting old and you look like a spoiled 2 year old every time something doesn't go your way

CamWake - welcome back after a 4 week hiatus

Starkz - DLine MVP to this point in the season? You betcha!

VDavis - omg what a great play that was in the INT ... those are the kind of plays I expected from Smith coming out of pre season.

Second half needs -

1. More pressure on Brady
2. Passing game needs more consistency
3. Run the ball down their freakin' throat
4. Better coverage in the secondary ... their walking the tight rope at the moment
