This season has been tough because last year spoiled me to what could be. I know deep down inside that we had a lot of good breaks last year that the team took advantage of and had one hell of a season.

The truth is, this season we've lost some hard games to a few of the best teams in the league.

We have an influx of youth at quarterback, defensive back and wide receiver and not to forget a young coach (relative to tenure as a head coach).

We just don't have the legs at WR to do the job. Bess and Ginn looked better last year by comparison but seem to be fading this season against better teams. Truth be told as often as I am pissed off at Ted Ginn and absolutely dread seeing him at WR Bess is very quickly earning the same feelings for me.

I think Camarillo and Hartline are the two most consistent WR's we have and with one recovering from a knee injury (he was slow before the injury) and the other being a rookie it doesn't give me warn fuzzy feelings about a explosive vertical passing game.

We have two rookie corners both of whom are doing a damn fine job but the fact still stands that they are rookies and are going to at times play as such. Before the season is over I expect a third rookie to join the defensive backfield in Clemons.

I don't mind the heated debates about who is on our roster but just shut the hell up about who we don't have. We don't have them ok? Let it go. I could give a rat turd less what they are doing with another team because any comparison to what they may have done in Miami is absolutely useless.

Let's talk about next years free agents, the upcoming draft...but if I hear one more time how Dwayne Bowe would have changed today's game I'm going to puke.

Anybody that's too upset about 3-5 take a step back and look at the 8 games we've played against last season. We're one game off where we were last season against far inferior opponents to this season.

I'm not happy about that fact, I feel in my heart with a few plays going another way we could very easily be 5-3.

If wishes and "buts" were candy and nuts we would all be fat and happy.

Oh and I forgot to add that I don't think we're done yet by any stretch. I think we have a run left in us and as hard as these guys play I'm not ready to assume we're finished at all. It will be tough, but I think the schedule is in our favor to bust some heads the rest of the year.

    Back in Miami
    Still 3-1 in the division.
We take care of Buffalo and NE at home and you gotta think we'll be in the mix at least.

We do lack talent though at WR which of course will affect our ability to run down the stretch. Pass Rush tandem of Taylor and Porter really seem to be showing their age to. We can win our fair share still this year though.

Well then get your bucket ready......cuz he damn sure would have. He'd have taken that last pass from Henne and took it to the house instead of looking like a WR that ought to be wearing a skirt.

I think anybody that would dispute that point should be banished from being a Dolphin fan and sent to the Raiders.

I agree, it will be tough and I hope to see more guys like Wake and Roth making an impact for us. I'm not going to say we are going to go 11-5 but I'm certain they could pull 9-7 out of this start.

Camarillo is by far our best WR. He drops the least amount of passes.

Anquan Boldin is really on the outs with Arizona. What are the chance they release him? They didn't even play him today I dont think. They have Fitzgerald anyway, they dont need him.

5-1, 10-6 can still get it done .... it is entirely plausible against our remaining schedule.

i still see us having no success in the playoffs given our weaknesses at LB and WR ... but getting there would still be nice.

Getting to the Playoffs would be great, just more experience for the players and another game for us! It's possible. Hell, if we win these next 3 games which we should, it's likely the Pats could lose 2 and we could be 1 game out going into the rematch in Miami. Let's win these first. And we play the Texans and Steelers who we could be battling for the wild card with.

Living here in AZ, all I hear about is the Cardinals. With that being said Boldin didnt play due to the ankle sprain he reinjured last week. They decided to sit him for the week to give him time to heal. He just got done telling the Media that no one in the Organzation was Man enough to tell him that he wasn't going to play. He will not be a Cardinal next year, but I am not sure that would want him with the injury bug he has. It would be an upgrade over what we have now, but I am unsure if we want to bring him in at the the beginning of the end for him and pay him the money he is looking for.
